to have missed all the talk and photos
(and drink... mmmm...aperol spritz...). Though soy - you and your DH look brilliant - so happy together! (Can't do heart emojis, but I would if I could
). Talking of people looking like other people, in fact, your DH really looks like one of our clients! I seem to remember you saying he's Scottish - but he doesn't happen to have a brother or something doing something in oil/ gas?! Also going back a few pages re the Paris job - it sounds as if you are thinking no, and given what you have said, that does seem sensible. It doesn't sound as if it is something you would love/ thrive on, and you do seem to have a good "deal" at the moment with home working away from the office - albeit with lots of travel and stress . The change sounds like it may just not have enough pros to balance out the cons - and keeping a sensible work/life balance is so important, even if you could sit out on a Parisian terrace with some vin in your spare time
laska -the chinos are great on you - really lovely, and the dress too! I love both jumpers, but the yellow is probably more unusual and yy a lovely contrast with the trousers (though the blue also works really well with them). Though I think last year there were loads of linen jumpers left at sale time, so you would probably be safe leaving one for now. Good haul!
offred - I know it was a few pages back, but that dress looks great on you - it really suits you! And I love the necklace you have with it.
Also lol @ the leather jacket enabling! Well done len - you've been inspiring in your longevity on The Bench - and if you do keep the jacket it is definitely a "classic" thing that it's worth spending on, so definitely not something to feel you've fallen off for some frippery!
soups - I really hope your DD is better today.
(not envy...)
I hope you had a good breakfast never! Sounds like a lovely day and your haul sounds promising too..hope the jeans work as well as laska's chinos. And cherries - hope your hunt for a bra is successful
.
