cherries poor you, really hope you feel much better soon & tooth doesn’t need anymore treatment.
Ella thanks, actually it’s not been that bad really & definitely made me wear stuff that I already have, especially stuff that was sort of subconsciously for ‘best’ which is daft as I don’t have lots of ‘best’ moments going on, love love the white top where is it from?
Yy F&F really annoying, I have a couple of v neck cashmere jumpers from a couple of years ago & they have worn n washed really well.

ilovecherries · 12/03/2019 11:11

Still in my PJs although have got the slow cooker and washing machine going in my defence. Trying to do without analgesia today so I can decide how bad my mouth actually is. DH brought me home for dentist but had to go back and I’m feeling bad that if I need more work done DD will need to come as my responsible adult - she’s in the last few weeks of dissertation writing so really doesn’t need to be distracted. AND I’ve spat yet another stuture out today, so will need to get back to GP as well. I don’t know why my body loves doing this - happened after my last surgery as well, I was having bits of fishing line pulled out of my leg for months. Doesn’t hurt once it’s out, just bloody annoying and I’m tired of getting my kit off every second day (it feels!). Normal service will be resumed soon.

I am working at home again! it seems like we cant get into out office for the rest of the week ! something to do with the automatic doors .. Not in PJs either, got dressed in faux leather leggings and pink meryl , but never made it out of the door! ,.. its also blowing an absolute hooley here today..
Sounds worrying about the sutures cherries does this mean hat youl have to have some redone?.. I hope your mouth will feel better today
I have broached potential breast reduction subject with Dh now , he seems unfazed ( which is good).. however, this isnt going to happen for me until I leave work at the end of this year ( and of course is incentive to lose again and keep weight low ).. I need to escape the up and down weight prob i still seem to have.. i know of course the answers . its just keeping to it .. (not easy when you are terminally lazy/ really hate all forms of exercise/really do like food and drink .
I really have no experience of surgery apart from sterilisation many years go and laser eye surgery , both quite minor compared ..

id really love to do some online shopping instead of the boring on line training course i am supposed to be doing right now ( but thats a v bad idea.. Grin..I need to join @TeamLen,if I am to save for reduction surgery!

No, the stuture thing isn’t worrying at all, it’s just a pain to keep going every day with a new one. If you don’t have them removed when they break the surface then they can become a source of infection, as there is a pin prick of skin being held open by them. And they are quite sore and itchy at that point. These internal stitches are meant to dissolve over time, but sometimes the body, instead of holding onto the remnants till they do so, gets over-enthusiastic and briskly pushes them up to the surface and through the skin. If they were pushed right out, it wouldn’t be an issue as the skin would just heal, but they tend to get half way out then sit there. Doctor usually just gives a tug and if they come right out that’s good, otherwise he pulls them out a tiny bit and clips them off, so the rest falls back under the skin to dissolve. That’s not sore at all, and the relief when they are out is immense. If I could reach them, it would be easy enough to do myself if I had a sterile stitch cutter and a pair of tweezers, but so far they’ve all been under my arm.

Anyway, got dressed (Amies and the green heart sweat from last year), put my contacts in and put some hair and makeup on, so looking and feeling more like myself.

Aww Laska come & join TeamLen anytime, yy Ikwym about knowing what you have to do, but implementing it is a whole different story.
Outfit today sounds fab, I’m in leggings & a huge old baggy jumper can’t get motivated today at all, I think it’s the wind it really unsettles me.

dontcallmelen · 12/03/2019 15:08

@Laska2Meryl just watching Escape to the Country, it’s featuring the IOW Wonder if I might spot you😃

FuzzyPuffling · 12/03/2019 17:50

My outfit today is grey leggings and an oversized grey hoodie dress (with a black stripe down the sleeve). I have had a sofa day, (bloody autoimmune disease)so getting dressed at all is an achievement.

dontcallmelen · 12/03/2019 18:04

Aww Fuzzy I reckon if you managed to get dressed, when feeling unwell is definitely an achievement💐

FuzzyPuffling · 12/03/2019 20:01

Thanks "melen". I managed to summon enough energy to finish my blouse. Well it was just four buttons and the hem! I need to try it on but that's a step too far.

FuzzyPuffling · 13/03/2019 10:24

Here 'tis (for those that didn't see it on the Sewing Bee thread). It fits me better than it fits Mrs Woman. She is not squashy like me. It's Liberty Tana Lawn and made from an old skirt.

Lovely blouse, fuzzy.

The wide striped top arrived today but I think I will send it back, it’s just not doing it for me. Pity as I had this image in my head of me wafting around in the summer with it on with slim white trousers, but in fact I just look a bit rectangular.

twosoups1972 · 13/03/2019 11:58

ella hope you and ds are feeling better today. Lovely top, so pretty.

cherries how are you today?

twosoups1972 · 13/03/2019 12:00

cherries I tried the same top and it didn't look good on me either. Shame.

fuzzy looks great, you are so talented.

Laska2Meryls · 13/03/2019 12:00

You need to celebrate having a 'shape' now Cherries Smile.. blouses like the one Fuzzy made are the way to go! .. I'm going to get the new grey outline star T shirt when it lands ( it's on prshots) as I really regretted not getting last year s one
But am determined to other wise stay on the bench ! Have started a budget for reduction, ( although I do have it in savings already, but I figured that if I put my potential clothing money each month in ' boob' account, it would keep me focused .. I have loads of summer clothes and still a few pounds of regain to lose before I feel really good in them again .

Laska2Meryls · 13/03/2019 12:04

pink Meryl and black leggings on again today ( I didn't wear them v long yesterday as worked at home all day !! ) Wink. I'm also wearing a great pair of Dune biker boots which I finally got resolved and heeled last week after they had lived in my car for about a month beforehand!

Laska2Meryls · 13/03/2019 12:14

Fuzzy, meant to say, I am so impressed with your blouse, I often have ideas about sewing but I just can't seem to even get straight lines correct! I was so bad they even chucked me out of sewing lessons at school as being beyond hope.. Sad

Laska2Meryls · 13/03/2019 12:17

Every so often I get my machine out in the great hope I can manage to swe something this time, I can manage hems now ( but they always end up wobbly )

Ellapaella · 13/03/2019 12:44

Hmmm
My wide top - tried it today with cropped black trousers. In principle it's a nice top but I think I'm going to return as to be honest the only thing I think it'll work with is leggings (and I'm not a huge legging wearer). It just somehow looks a bit shapeless on me, it would work better if it were a bit more tapered in at the bottom.

Oh and thanks all.. Mini Paella is back to his usual self today and I'm feeling good. Been out with dog this am, met friend for breakfast and trying to summon up enthusiasm to clean the house properly today as it's only been lightly kept on top of since before I went into hospital.

Hello! Does anyone have the Anya coat? It's in the sale but still £120. I need something that will go with navy, black, and grey, so that is about all I can find just now. I just want something to go with very plain trousers, boots, and jumpers/tops (possibly ruched jersey dresses and shorter skirts). However, the reviews say it is an odd size and it certainly seems to get a lot of returns as they keep going out of stock, then coming back in again. I'm a 12/14, but that is bigger than usual, so I am wondering whether I should at the size I am.

Ellapaella · 13/03/2019 13:23

@WooWooWitchetyWoo don't have the Anya coat but did have a Hush coat from
that season (sent back). It was true to size unlike usual Hush stuff. I think the general consensus over the winter season was that coats were coming up true to size for the first time in a while. Someone else may be able to advise better.

WooWooWitchetyWoo · 13/03/2019 13:29

Thank you Ella - being in between sizes, I don't know which one to size down from!
