Leather Leggings?!

BobbilyBoo · 28/02/2019 22:44

I have become obsessed with the idea that I need some some leather leggings, so please can ask two questions....

  1. Do I need some?
  1. And if so, any recommendations?

Yes you do and so do I.
Zara do a nice pair but not sure on how good on they actually are.
I'll wait here for people to recommend some decent ones

JuniperNarni · 28/02/2019 23:04

Not sure how good they are in comparison to others because they're the only ones I've ever worn but asos leather look leggings are a great fit and very comfy.

pinkground202 · 28/02/2019 23:12

Someone on Instagram recommended the Cos leather leggings. I think it might have been a Wardrobe Icons, I would heed their recommendations as they usually go for pretty high end stuff.

Imacliche · 01/03/2019 05:55

Shamelessly following. Got some last year from asda they fit amazing. Asda have stopped doing them and mine and ruined. Haven't been able to find a pair that fit the same since.

circeplease · 01/03/2019 10:26

The Hush ones are fab.

Pinkyyy · 01/03/2019 10:32

Yes you do! They're great for when you want to dress up a bit, but not too much. You can get some really nice 'wet look' or coated jeans that look lovely too, but are usually more comfortable.

neveradullmoment99 · 01/03/2019 12:48

I can second the hush ones. They are gorgeous. They had them in the sale. Not sure if they still have them sadly but you could try ebay.

SurgeHopper · 01/03/2019 12:49

Do they not make you sweat?

neveradullmoment99 · 01/03/2019 12:50

They still have them if you put leather leggings into the hush search bit. They have the burgundy ones in a 12 left. Black ones in a mix of sizes. The black ones are full price unfortunately.

neveradullmoment99 · 01/03/2019 12:51

No they don't make you sweat at all.

neveradullmoment99 · 01/03/2019 12:51

They feel amazing on and nothing like PU leggings. Not sure if it is because the hush ones have a fine lining.

SurgeHopper · 01/03/2019 12:53

OK wowser, I may try some. They do look cool (maybe they'll even make me look cool!)

Eesha · 01/03/2019 13:26

following, I was wondering whether I'd resemble an eighties hip hop star! What shoes do you wear with them, and do they squeak as you walk?

Eesha · 01/03/2019 13:27

erm Hush are 345 pounds! There must be something cheaper!

GrubbyHipsterBeard · 01/03/2019 13:36

I’m a pear shape - I love them but I’d look ridiculous right?

neveradullmoment99 · 01/03/2019 13:41

@Grubby - I am pear shaped. It just means you wear a long top over your widest part. Not ridiculous at all.

neveradullmoment99 · 01/03/2019 13:43

They don't squeak when you walk. I wear a long jumper and on my feet my dm's or trainers, or a lovely long silk blouse with ankle boots. In winter a lovely long knit.

neveradullmoment99 · 01/03/2019 13:44

You can wear them just like trousers. Mine don't show lumps or bumps so although they are leggings they are like trousers cause of the thickness. You can wear a t-shirt and a lovely longline cardigan, trainers.

neveradullmoment99 · 01/03/2019 13:45

I prefer to wear mine dressed down.

neveradullmoment99 · 01/03/2019 13:46

I think you will find that most leather leggings are £££
Sometimes hush do money off like 10%.

neveradullmoment99 · 01/03/2019 13:47

I sold stuff on ebay and purchased mine as a treat to myself.

Hullabalooo · 01/03/2019 13:51

I want these now too!

Eesha · 01/03/2019 13:51

I think I'd be ok with a leather look if cheaper

neveradullmoment99 · 01/03/2019 13:55

Next did some good leather look leggings and they were pretty cheap. Not sweaty either.

neveradullmoment99 · 01/03/2019 13:55

I also have them. They are the coated leggings.
