Here we go again, and as always say what you like about the clothes but keep it civil re the wearers of said clothes!

She hardly oiled her own legs with her bump in the way ?Smile
Wouldn't the oil ruin the fabric of the dress ?

SenecaFalls · 30/01/2019 15:38

I think she looks great, and I also think that the ensemble is very appropriate for the occasion.

I also think she dressed appropriately for the visit to the animal charity. Several of the people she met there were clearly dressed up, probably because they were meeting a royal duchess. Also it is possible to cuddle small animals while being dressed smartly.

LuciaSpain · 30/01/2019 15:41

I disagree that she was dressed smartly at the animal sanctuary. I thought her outfit was cheap when it clearly wasn't and very uncomfortable looking.

Maybe we are too used to safe Kate! :)

Scandaloso · 30/01/2019 15:42

There's probably a royal leg oiler. Better job than Groom of the Stool!

(a slight sheen on the leg is very flattering and as she's mixed race she's probably conscious of her skin not looking 'ashy')

QueenOfTheAndals · 30/01/2019 15:49

Her dress at the animal sanctuary was quite literally cheap - £25 at H&M! And I think fine for attending the event that day. Had she showed up at the Rememberance Sunday service wearing it then that would've been a different story!

Maybe she should've followed Kate's literal dressing lead and worn this to the animal sanctury Grin

Queen You have read my mind!

itswinetime · 30/01/2019 16:05

Queen that is literal dressing I can get behind Wink

CreakyBlinder · 30/01/2019 16:08

Hahaha @QueenOfTheAndals

CurlyWurlyTwirly · 30/01/2019 16:11

It was probably a dry oil spray. Although in this weather, maybe she would be better off using lard like a cross channel swimmer.

ItsNiceItsDifferentItsUnusual · 30/01/2019 16:13

I like today's outfit. If I'm being fussy I would have preferred a deeper (but appropriate) neckline.

CurlyWurlyTwirly · 30/01/2019 16:14

probably something like this

That was for the dry oil.

I also thought a deeper neckline and a bit of jewellery. Simple gold something.

CurlyWurlyTwirly · 30/01/2019 16:18

Wow the bump is big now. Must be 7 months?
She is carrying it very gracefully.

Was she a dancer at any point? Something about her posture suggests to me that she was.

I’m intrigued by her bag/clutch. It looks like a pencil case or a glasses case. How do you fit anything in? I do like it though.

QueenOfTheAndals · 30/01/2019 16:32

Well all they need to carry around is lipstick, a compact mirror and some tissues really, so no need for large bags!

SenecaFalls · 30/01/2019 16:34

She'll need a phone in there, though, to keep tabs on this thread. Smile

DobbyTheHouseElk · 30/01/2019 16:35

What about a phone. If they are on a long car journey, do they not MN?

QueenOfTheAndals · 30/01/2019 16:41

Oh yes, how could I forget a phone?? Kate probably spent the trip back from Dundee checking this thread out and ignoring William!

They have a cousin WhatsApp group don’t they? Wonder if spouses are invited to join? Nosy

QueenOfTheAndals · 30/01/2019 16:50

I hope Kate, Meghan, Sophie and Autumn all have a Wives of Windsor WhatsApp group where they discuss the more batshit of royal traditions! Mike Tindall can be in on it too as an honorary Wife, Jack Brooksbank probably not so much.
