Welcome KT and congratulations on your baby.
It depends on what you need/like.
The joggers and harems are great for home days but mostly ooo now in the sale except for larger sizes and you need to size down in Hush as it’s very generous. But the stripy Amies are only £15 in the sale and really nice, more of a summer weight though.
I’m a true size 12 bottoms and size 14 top due to norkage. I tend to go for S in any bottoms with elasticated waist (including skirts) and 12 in jeans and they’re always generous.
For jumpers I tend to go for M but it depends on the style, some looser tunics/tops you need to size down to S too.
Anything with a v neck in the sale would be good, but even the sweats tend to have a wider round neck which means it’s more flattering for generous bossoms.
If you’re not registered with Hush yet I can pm you a £20 “recommend a friend” voucher which will make your £100 go further and give me the same in future purchases. You enter the code in your basket to get £20 off any £80 value order.
Hope this helps Smile

SoyYo · 18/01/2019 17:00

KT I’ve sent you pm with my voucher “just in case” as I’m not always on the thread. If anyone else wants one just mention it here and I’ll pm you but I can’t put it in the public thread as the voucher link with “mention me” has my full RL name on it Wink

twosoups1972 · 18/01/2019 17:07

cherries time for a new hobby! Is there anything you've always wanted to do but haven't had time for?

PorpoisefullyObtuse · 18/01/2019 17:07

KT welcome - there are quite a few posters blessed/cursed with decent sized chests on this thread so hopefully they can steer you well. It’s a happy little place and you are very welcome!

I got my sale parcel today - Florence and Meg just too long on me. The riviera jumpsuit for my holiday in 3 months was enormous- ordered a 10, it fell off. Constellation scarf is pure static. Keeping the raglan on carribean, it’s a fabulous colour, also the wide leg trousers which I’ve fancied for a while - worth £30 for sure.

SoyYo · 18/01/2019 17:08

Porpoise you’ve got a lovely figure, you look great in the pic you posted.
Yes I rate Baukjen jersey quality really highly I have 4 jersey tops from them (and leather jeans and leather biker Blush ) and they have washed very well no shrinkage and kept their shape.
I only buy when it’s heavily discounted though as it is quite ££ even for the heavy jersey quality.

@Gin I’m itching too and trying not to succumb Grin I don’t even have the excuse of a JL voucher!

@Laska enjoy your DGS visit. He sounds like a handful! Lovely busyness I’m sure at the end of it you’ll be ready for a big rest Grin

@soups glad to hear DD is feeling brighter and even looking forward to some activities with friends. Let her lead the pace. It’s a positive sign she’s starting to think about the future.

SoyYo · 18/01/2019 17:12

Porpoise Shame about the skirts I have them and they’re okay in my 5’ 3” short arse but don’t know if you’re even shorter?
Never had static problems with the constellation scarf (but I never seem to have static probs even when others have mentioned on other items)
At least the sweat is a keeper (I had been looking at it Wink agree it’s a lovely colour)

SoyYo · 18/01/2019 17:13

And the wide trousers are not too long?

FuzzyCustard · 18/01/2019 17:17

porpoise that top looks fab on you.

Just seen that Sewing Bee is coming back on the telly. I might be inspired to start dressmaking again (I used to do loads many years ago and still have a chest of drawers full of fabric). I could at least make things fit me!

PorpoisefullyObtuse · 18/01/2019 17:45

Thanks Soyyo and Fuzzy!

@soyyo the skirts are just the wrong length I suppose, they sit just on my knee whereas I prefer either shorter or longer. I’m 5ft 6 and the trousers are the perfect length - I put them on with a slightly thicker soles brogue and they aren’t trailing the ground.

KTD27 · 18/01/2019 18:19

soyo thanks so much for your help and your code Grin
I shall go and peruse and see what I can grab. Ooh exciting!

SoyYo · 18/01/2019 18:28

You’re very welcome KT and I’ll blame you if you do end up using it as the £20 evoucher I’ll get will only enable me to buy more Hmm

Porpoise yes the wide trousers do look great but I fear if they’re just the wrong length on you they’ll definitely need taking up with me (and I got the check trousers in the sale too so I really really do not need any more smartish trousers)

SoyYo · 18/01/2019 18:30

Doh right length on you ditto wrong length on me! Sorry I think I’m tired being Friday and all that Smile

twosoups1972 · 18/01/2019 18:35

Welcome KTD how lovely of your dh! Enjoy choosing.

I see there are lots of fellow pilates fans on here, I also partake. My friend qualified as an instructor a few years ago so I go to her for classes. I love the way it makes your body feels, you can feel it doing good!

Laska2Meryls · 18/01/2019 20:38

....and relax... [Wine] dinner done mostly eaten )but granny overcooked the sausages apparently). Eight chapters of 'Captain Underpants' read , teeth and wash and DGS has just conked out. More [Wine] . though I also want my bed now😂

Laska2Meryls · 18/01/2019 20:50

Just put on my Hush red flower PJ's bought in the sale . They are really lovely.. great quality. Recommended if any left..

neveradullmoment99 · 18/01/2019 22:17

Love the flowery pj's laska. They are a stunning print.

justilou1 · 19/01/2019 01:32

Oh @Laska - not enough wine in the world to make me cope with Captain Underpants anymore. Thank goodness DS has grown out of that at last! (You are a very good GM!!!).
I am procrastinating over a coffee, still in in my hideous, but very comfy, dropped crotch pj's that husband refers to as nappy pant pj's, before I submit to urban combat in the supermarket. Then I am going to help my friend start the mammoth task of emptying her mother's house. (Parents were hoarders. We're thinking of hiring an arsonist and blaming the heatwave.)
Have also been tasked with purchasing expensive marinated goat's cheese that is located approximately 40mins drive away because DH left last jar on the kitchen bench to fester in the heat. Wonders why I am less than excited to spend my Saturday procuring this treasure. (It's not going to happen today...... DH, AKA Cheese Princess can wait until Tuesday when I'm heading that way, and if I remember, and he can think about the consequences of living in hot environments, I might head to stinky cheese place.) (To be fair, it's reeeeeeally good cheese.)
Anyhow, I hope you enjoy your Arctic Blast while it lasts, and realise I'm not being sarcastic. I'm off to get dressed and apply industrial-strength anti-perspirant and find something peri-menopausal to wear. (No idea WTH that means at the moment. I'm not impressed with being this in-between age where I'm not quite old enough to not give a shit, yet too old to look right in anything.)
Sigh!
Have a nice night!

wearenotacodfish · 19/01/2019 09:54

@soups I'm so pleased to hear your daughter is feeling a little bit better, it's amazing what home comforts can achieve.

I have loved looking at everyone's photos, we don't often get snow here apparently we are too close to the sea. I might be in the minority here but I hate snow, it looks pretty for about five minutes but is disruptive for days.

We are taking the hound to visit my mum today and going to the cinema later. I think I'm going to wear my burgundy Ivy dress today but I am still in my PJs. H has gone for a run so I'm pottering about.

SoyYo · 19/01/2019 12:26

laska Captain Underpants! I remember him well 😂 agree with just you are a wonderful GM
cod I’m with you with the snow lark.
DH has taken DC2 to station to go back to Brighton and today I’m in skinny Zara black jeans, Uniqlo heatech and Hush Rose jumper from S/S. grey and cold outside will try and muster the courage to brave a walk later.
I got a £10 gift voucher from Boden in the post today so I’m going to have a look at their sale jumpers and see if I can find something I’d like to spend the voucher + a bit of cash on. I’m thinking I need a bright colour as I have tons of black/grey jumpers. Something snuggly, super soft, and cheerful. In fact I was eyeing up the stripy Hush Ryder jumper for this very reason.
Has anyone got the Ryder jumper I wonder?

GinandGingerBeer · 19/01/2019 12:37

Our bloody boiler is on the blink again so I'm sat under my plug in fleece blanket in my hush zebra joggers, burgundy raglan and Sabrina cardi with my hair in a birds nest as I can't have a shower. It usually sorts itself out after being switched off for an hour but it's not playing so far ☹️🥶
Having my roots done at 2.30 and can't go to the hairdressers like this!

SoyYo · 19/01/2019 13:13

Oh that’s so annoying Gin Sad
Do it the old fashioned way, boil a kettle and have a wash with a flannel I’m sure the visit to the hairdressers will make you feel tons better (and warmer too by the sound of it).
Hope the boiler is fixed super fast!

FuzzyCustard · 19/01/2019 20:33

Evening all. I need your opinions on these sandals. I'm quite tempted as they look comfortable but not too mumsy, but I may be completely wrong. Also, bear in mind that I have size 8 feet so will not look cute.
Yes or no?

Hushistas watching the snow fall
wearenotacodfish · 19/01/2019 21:55

@FuzzyCustard I like them and think they would be better on than off. My favourite sandals are from office and called Halle.

GinandGingerBeer · 19/01/2019 22:07

Thankfully the boiler came back to life just in the nick of time.
So the diet and the no spend until I'm thin plan went with it Grin
Re ordered the polo tara, trying xs this time as the s was too big in the polo version, but I know xs is too small in the regular version so we shall see.
Also ordered the Megan skirt in floral as I love the zebra one and £30 is quite a bargain.
Then ordered this puff sleeved shirt from massimo dutti @ £19.99
Halo well truly on the floor!
