Agree that Anne was worried about her father and probably wished she could see him instead of going through with an appointment, yet if she cancelled her appointment, the press would assume he was in even worse condition than they already speculated. Very much a case of the show must go on I think......

Re the Cotswold house if it is a bolt hole from life at Kensington then surely the wont need it once they have Frogmore which is a step a way from it all anyway?

Also as blooming said would it be practical commuting from London to the Cotswolds with a baby every weekend? Even with royal means of transportation? Especially when you consider Meghan is likely to want fairly regularly visit with Doria.

I'd like to think practically they have thought about it as a ridiculous waste of money however it's in the mail from one of thier many well placed sources 🙄 so I won't believe it's even true till the contract is actually cancelled.

Meghan looked fab with the press secretary yesterday. Very cool looking with the shoes and jeans. Loved her Mulberry bag too. The press secretary is very handsome!

Princess Anne visits light house off Northumberland. The woman is driven; but it looks like fun!

Although it was low key; it was still a working lunch. I think despite the ripped jeans; heels make an outfit more business like.

The Queen driving around Sandringham, on a public road. No seatbelt on apparently. Quoting from DM. Apparently she doesn’t have a driving licence and learnt to drive with the army in 1945.

I don't like ripped jeans with high heels it looks odd to me, but that's just personal taste. I don't wear heels, but she obviously loves them!

There is an article in the DM about Prince Phillip basically having his own separate lufe at Wood Farm on the Sandringham Estate. Buried in there is the fact that he gets regular visits from the former Penny Romsey, now Countess Mountbatten, his carriage driving partner.

Re. driving licenses. I knew several people who never took a test, but were issued with licenses during the war years, that remained valid. Sadly, most of them are no longer with us. This would presumably apply to HM.
