I had M&S calendar last year along with look fantastic one and I pretty much liked M&S one more. This year I have Liberty as a main treat, but I bought M&S anyway because it’s such a good value for the price. Obviously, Liberty calendar is way above with lots of full sizes and all, but the price also was high. WOuld definitely buy M&S one again.

I can’t get my head around why so many bloggers etc rated so highly John Lewis calendar this year? While it has good products the sizes are tiny, but original price very high. Surely if you are prepared to spend over £150 on advent calendar you want something with full sizes, not loads of testers?!

I’d rather have testers of great stuff than full size rubbish.

It’s been better than the Selfridges calendar but very underwhelming overall after week 1.

When some of the full sizes are £50 each that would end up v pricey.

I'm not that fussed about full sizes in case I don't like something.

I got a Stila brown eye pencil which is rather beautiful. I like it!

MeetInTheSledge you mention bronzer? I definitely don’t have bronzer today... I wonder if it’s a split where some people have something different?

@Atalune ahh yes I got the Stila eye pencil too. I like it, I use eye liner a lot and this is a bit softer than the last one as I’m blue eyed blonde so the brown is better although I’ve been using the Black for a more dramatic look.

But I have been really wanting a bronzer to pop up! I don’t like it when one day is random but I’m aware there are 26 products and we get 25!

REALLY happy about today’s. I was in the market for a new one and this is the right colour and doesn’t seem to budge.

I’ll def get the calendar next year. The only dud for me was the orange lipgloss and even that I’ve been wearing round the house as the formula is mousturising even if the colour doesn’t suit.

Today's eye liner's very nice, one of the best things so far.

The Liberty calendar has lots of full size products, none of them rubbish, I've been following the thread with deep envy. I'm planning on stashing £15 a month away so I can buy it guiltfree next year.

I've got green/ hazel eyes would today's eye liner suit me? I never wear eye make up so not sure? My favourite have been the perfume Nuxe products and Stila stuff. I'd like more shower stuff

I'm a black or charcoal eyeliner usually, so today's is nice to try something different. I'm imagining it will be very subtle

Very excited about today's! I normally wear black eyeliner so it's great to try a new colour and I love the wind-up type of eyeliners.

@applespearsbears my eyes are hazel and this is the kind of shade I usually wear as I find blank / grey a bit harsh.

Very happy with todays, I would never use black eyeliner so gave to my DD but will happily try this one - I love the shade and Stila is a quality brand. Happy days!

Today's eye pencil has a value of £16.00 which brings our running total to £259.55. DH says we can get a funnel tomorrow and still have gone through the £250 promised value. 😁

I don't usually wear anything other than black eyeliner but am convinced this one will make me look like Keira Knightly

If you're envious of the Liberty calendar, do remember that this is a £1.40 a day lucky dip, and that is a £7.80 a day lucky dip.

Ah today I got the black Diego you all had last week.

Lovely eyeliner. I normally wear black but I like this - and it goes on so smoothly with no dragging.

Im thrilled with the thought that we are getting something which was on my wishlist. Hope the poster who let us know doesn't feel bad ; no harm done and something to look forward to.

Finally I used elasticiser on Thursday night and the blow dry stuff yesterday morning and my hair looks even better this morning. Which is amazing as it normally looks like an exploding birds nest first thing.
