And once again, let's keep this good-spirited. Spiteful comments are about as welcome as Fergie at Prince Philip's birthday party!

I haven't posted on this thread before (in spite of following it with interest!), but I have to back up what's been said about Princess Anne.

A friend of mine is very involved in one of Anne's charities, not Save the Children, and is extremely impressed with how involved and knowledgeable she is, her attendance and chairing of meetings etc.

She is absolutely not just a figurehead.

i see the paper's are claiming an 'insider' has said M is expecting twins.
I must say, I find the photos of her scantily clad, one in stockings and suspenders a bit at odds with her so called feminist stance. She seems to talk a lot about her opinions but not really live them.

I get the impression that Meghan's letter to Proctor & Gamble was part of a school "social studies" project. She says she watched the advert in class.
Now, it's all been beefed up a bit to enhance her CV/public profile.

Anne looks very comfortable down there as in a bit of sewage & rats, that's bloody naff all & I've dealt with far worse!

I’d like to think Princess Anne would be too sensible to deal with DOS in a scathing manner. Why should she what has she done to her personally, in fact what has she done to any of them. There may have been cultural differences but I’d like to think the RF have learnt from past mistakes and are being supportive to a newcomer to their family and country.
I feel with some people, the DOS can do no right and, not sure if it’s because she’s pregnant or the fact I always champion the underdog...but I feel for her. It just feels like Mean Girls to me.

That looks quite complicated, Tracy, but fascinating. I realise I don't know much about the history of Scandinavia, but I've found a book about it on Amazon and I've added it to my wish list for Christmas. (No doubt my son will leave Christmas buying to the last minute as usual.)
