Anyone else got this & want to discuss?

Love the Nars lipglide, wore it last night and got a few compliments!

I stayed out and just got back - unsure which day as there is no 2 but two 22s?

Agree UpToonGirl. 50% off is easy choice but would not pay full price.

I’ve enjoyed it but certainly not as much as last year. Last year was well worth £150 as I’ve said, about 8-9 were full size or travel size. This year I do feel we’ve been ripped off a bit comparatively and it’s not really been worth £165. I also paid less due to Black Friday sales but I’m not sure next year I will be getting this again.

Products wise I love the Givenchy perfume. Wore it yday and it lasted all day.
Bare Minerals - never tried anything from them so looking forward to trying this.
The Sisley cream is eye wateringly expensive!!
Love a good lipstick so looking forward to trying today’s offering!

First time I have ever bought a beauty calendar. My fave is the hourglass powder. I liked the Laura mercier primer was good but the ct one was too glittery. Thought the Bobbi brown lipstick was lovely and I liked the Nars one as well even thought I wouldn’t normally buy anything that bright. I haven’t tried all the creams yet. I want to try them one at a time so I can see if any of them work!

I really like the lipstick! I always struggle to find one I feel confident wearing and this actually looks ok on me so its a win! I think its a really good size as well.

What are we hoping for in the last few boxes? There has only been one hair product (I think) so I would be happy to see another or maybe some eye shadow.

I love the lipstick today. I usually feel clownish in lippy so tend to wear a tinted balm. The size is great as well. I would love an eyeshadow or blusher. Hair products aren't great for me as I follow curly girl so can't use most of them! I can't remember what was in the calendar, so it's all a surprise.

Love the perfume today! Might be my favourite so far.

Love the lipstick from yesterday, ever had a Bobbi Brown lipstick before and I am impressed.

The perfume today is divine, I keep sniffing my wrists!

I thought three perfumes was a little overkill but actually really like all three! They are all good sizes as well so should be able to get a good while out of rotating them. Much prefer a couple of perfumes to a couple of hand creams!

Argh my 22 was empty!! Can anyone let me know what was inside so I can figure out whether to make a stink about it with John Lewis

Becca primer - so I would kick up a stink!

Thanks - I was a bit hasty there it was buried under the tissue paper, the becca primer was one of the items I really wanted to try so I’m glad it wasn’t missing. Tried it today, I liked the look on first application but didn’t get to check it throughout the day - it’s quite thin though, I was expecting it to be a bit more primer-y

I haven’t tried it yet, I have recently purchased the This Works Camera Ready and using that as a primer, it is so good I haven’t used anything else since. I am keen to try the Becca foundation though, nikkiturorials raves about it

Today’s was fab! Nice Xmas present to start the day, I quite like the perfume and will pack away the shower gel and cream to use on a weekend away

Overall I’m really pleased with this calendar, lots of great brands, some were a bit sampley in size but they were expensive brands and most of them were quite decent in size. Thinking about swaps there’s not many I wouldn’t keep and use, will probably give most of it a go

Will look out for this calendar again next year (at half price like this year )

Was a little disappointed with the last box, I thought it was a candle at first! I'm not keen on the smell so I think this one will go in my donate pile.

Final thoughts are positive about the calendar (I got it half price) really like the three perfumes, bb lipstick and the rose face mask. Aside from the last box I don't think there was anything I was disappointed about.

Has anyone been in to JL to use any of the cards that came with it (scalp analysis, foundation match and sample etc)?

Overall I was pleased with the calendar, I would have liked larger sample sizes but the products themselves are lovely and in the high-end of beauty products. A solid 8/10 for me

Merry Christmas (belated) to you all and I’ve really enjoyed discussing the products. Have to say something I’m LOVING is the becca primer and going to have to buy the full size.

DP’s sis bought me CT Wonderglow for Christmas & I also got the Becca volcano goddess palette so I’ve got a few nice beauty bits. Hope Santa was good to all you lovely ladies.

I’m already considering the Liberty London calendar next year
