Anyone else got this & want to discuss?

Love the Nars lipglide, wore it last night and got a few compliments!

I stayed out and just got back - unsure which day as there is no 2 but two 22s? Grin

Yes it looks to be neals yard when I googled the name of it!

The CT primer is very glowy - I can imagine it’s not for everyone based on that but I do ❤️it!

Love today’s omorovicza night cream, I had a sneak peek last night and seeing it was night cream, tried it straight away. It’s lovely, rich and creamy and smells gorgeous. Thumbs up for this one!

UpToonGirl · 12/12/2018 16:33

Another goodie! Haven't used this before but I've had a couple of things from the brand which I rated so I would expect this to be good.

AesopsMables · 12/12/2018 23:46

Just found the thread.

I am really pleased with the Omorovicza night cream and will def be purchasing again.

Have to say that the tiny sample of the Frankincense serum was a bit miserly Hmm

Not keen on the mascara or the face mask but most of the others are a hit with me.

Is anyone adding up the value? Will be interesting to see if it is actually worth the £130 I paid at the end

YellowLily · 13/12/2018 08:15

The night cream is lovely - my skin feels amazing this morning.

Not sure about today’s - my hair is so fine products tend to weigh it down and end up having the opposite effect it’s intended to. But I will give it a go! Grin it’s my Christmas do tomorrow night so pleased at my little stash of products, my skin really is looking great atm - I think mainly to the REN tonic. Definite repurchase from me. The perfume has grown on me too and I got a compliment at work yesterday so that might be another.

Again I was pleased with today's offering. Not sure about the scalp analysis, sounds like an opportunity to flog you a few products! Yes, I get this is the point of the calendar but I'm a total sucker for this sort of thing!

You're all making me want to crack open the CT primer and the Ren toner even though I told myself I was going to wade through my other stuff first! I bought the Harper's beauty box just before my calendar arrived and I already had loads of stuff anyway so my bathroom is looking like a beauty jumble sale at the moment.

Favourites so far, rose face mask and the perfume. I also quite like the mascara although I do get a little bit of flaking towards the end of the day, I wouldn't swap my current mascara for it long term though.

Topofthehills · 14/12/2018 11:09

So pleased with the Hourglass powder today! I got Ethereal Light as a present once and it is sooo pretty. Today I got Luminous light. They are the nicest powders, they make me feel so fancy and air-brushed.

mowglik · 14/12/2018 15:35

Top I got something different today! Will check again I may well have opened the wrong box in a 6am haze Confused

BluthsFrozenBananas · 14/12/2018 15:55

I just spotted this thread! I bought the calendar for half price so don’t mind getting a few duds.

I like the perfume, toner, rose face mask and both moisturisers best so far. I haven’t tried the mascara or face cleanser, the primer is way too glittery for my taste and I suspect today’s highlighter will be too.

Lumene · 14/12/2018 16:02

Bluths google hourglass powders they are more than just a highlighter and shouldn’t be too glittery on.

mowglik · 14/12/2018 21:22

Ok I did open the wrong box.. today’s hourglass powder looks intriguing, will try it tomorrow. Wondering whether to try it all over or as a finishing powder? Has anyone tried this yet?

Topofthehills · 15/12/2018 09:03

Yes, they're not highlighters, they're a finishing powder. Not at all sparkly - more glowy. :-)

Topofthehills · 15/12/2018 09:04

There's one called "Dim Light", which always makes me laugh.

I also thought the night cream was lovely - but so pricey!

AesopsMables · 15/12/2018 10:21

Wearing the Givenchy perfume today, not sure yet if I like or not. Good size eau de perfume though!

Hourglass powder is very handy, I have the palette and it's lovely but bulky to carry around so v happy with a single.

BluthsFrozenBananas · 15/12/2018 10:29

Thanks for the info on the hourglass powder. I’d dismissed it as an ordinary highlighter.

I like today’s perfume but it doesn’t seem to have much longevity on me, I could barely smell it an hour after I’d tried it.

Topofthehills · 15/12/2018 12:27

Today's perfume is lovely - it does remind me of my mum, though, because she always wears (various) Givenchy perfumes.

YellowLily · 15/12/2018 14:19

I love the hourglass powder. Also have the palette but this is my fave of the 3 so it’s nice to have this as a single as like a pp said the palette is too big to carry in my makeup bag.

Love the perfume, tried the hair product and predictably made my hair greasy. Sad

UpToonGirl · 15/12/2018 15:17

I've got an hourglass palette which I do use but I've been a little underwhelmed by it, possibly as all the reviews were so positive and it gave me unrealistic expectations. I'm interested to use the powder from the calendar as I don't have this shade in the palette and see what it's like.

Liked the perfume but it hasn't lasted well, unlike the other one which lasted all day.

I've been using the aveda hair product but I can't say it's done anything!

Caggie09 · 15/12/2018 15:31

I love the perfume, i can still smell it on me and i put it on at 6ish this morning. Might have to purchase full size😊 never tried Givenchy perfumes

tootiredtothink · 16/12/2018 12:44

So do you use the hourglass as a powder all over face ? After usual powder or instead of ?

CT primer is amazing. Can see a glow under my Estée Lauder doubleweat foundation and powder. Something no other primers have been able to do.

Loving this advent calendar although did get it for half price. Will definitely try to get it again next year.

BuzzLightyearsHoneyBun · 16/12/2018 20:15

Anybody tried the overnight facial from today? Gosh it smells awful! I think I am going to have to wash it off. A shame as everything else has been fantastic so far.

I agree about the floral street perfume, smells very strange at first but settles to a beautiful long lasting scent. I had the calendar last year too , very pleased with them both.

Chapellass · 16/12/2018 23:43

I wonder if your overnight facial oil is off / old? It's one of the best products I've ever used (if £££) so pleased to get a mini of it for holidays etc. It does smell quite strongly of essential oils though so if you don't like those that could be off putting.

YellowLily · 17/12/2018 09:14

I am not keen on Sarah Chapman. I have the full size overnight facial and it causes me to break out so I’ve already given the sample away. So far that and the Aveda product are complete no from me. The pillow spray was in last year’s - bit of a gimmick but a nice little treat.

verite · 17/12/2018 12:56

I’m loving the hourglass powder. I had been looking for a powder that did not give me a Matt finish. Had bought the benefit one but too glittery. This is perfect.

UpToonGirl · 19/12/2018 12:14

Not posted for a few days but I've been pleased with the last few boxes. I do like trying out new face creams although I haven't used any of the last few days yet as I'm trying to finish off a few things first, I'm also having a break out a the moment so trying to clear that!

Still very happy I got this but I'm not sure how I would feel if I'd paid full price.
