So I ordered 2 new dresses for my work Christmas party both arrived this morning.

If I chose the pink one I would have to get some of those short style spanks as I am aware you can see my knicker style spanks chopping my thighs off!

Please excuse my slatten like mirror Blush

Neither dress is right for you. But don't fear, MN is good at this kind of thing!

formerbabe · 26/11/2018 11:10

I agree neither is quite right...although you look nice in both.

Pink is a bit clingy but it's a,lovely colour and you have good legs and it shows them off.

Black is too long and the backs not quite right.

If I had to choose, I'd go for pink though.

Mammyloveswine · 26/11/2018 11:23

I like the black...much classier! The first looks a bit "90s" although I'm aware that the 90s trend is "in"

Immigrantsong · 26/11/2018 11:41

OP why don't you post your budget and size and what you would like and we could all do a bit of research for you.

Fashionista101 · 26/11/2018 11:50

Black :)

Elledorado · 26/11/2018 12:04

Have you had a look at Zara? Some of their mini dresses would look fab on you.

The pink is short & tight, not a great combo for a work do.

The black just does nothing for you.

I am a size 12, the do is Friday and my budget is up to £50 if anyone can help me out that would be great!

You’re a similar shape to me and i’d Buy something like this

Haircutdilemma · 26/11/2018 15:49

I like those. I wouldn't usually go for that shape but willing to try anything.

I think the shape of those dresses would be very flattering for anyone who doesn't want to draw attention to their tummy. I think they are very pretty as well.

Disabrie22 · 26/11/2018 20:01

OP you have a stunning figure and amazing legs - get yourself a sparkley wrap or minidress - look at Warehouse and FCUK

Disabrie22 · 26/11/2018 20:01

And Zara!

Loopytiles · 26/11/2018 20:08

The fit of the pink is unflattering. Black one is OK but not great. Given the date of the “do” best thing would be to head for the shops!

UtterlyDesperate · 26/11/2018 20:16

With your great legs, OP, I'd look for a skater-style mini dress - it would flatter your tummy whilst showing off your legs.
