Which dress *choice of two with pics *

So I ordered 2 new dresses for my work Christmas party both arrived this morning.

If I chose the pink one I would have to get some of those short style spanks as I am aware you can see my knicker style spanks chopping my thighs off!

I prefer the black one. You have a lovely figure and it’s very flattering, particularly around the shoulders and boobs.

Sorry - I think they both look cheap. You are beautiful, and neither of these dresses suit you or do you any favours. You can do much better than these!

The black looks too big and the pink too small. I agree with the previous posters that say you should try some more dresses.

I think if you wore the pink one you'd be spending the whole evening pulling it down over your thighs and feeling uncomfortable when you sat down. There's no room for eating or drinking anything! If you've got time, perhaps you could get it in the next size up. If not, go for the black one.

You're very beautiful, but I'm not sure I'd wear either of those to a works do.

Pink - much funkier. Black is just MEH.

I think the pink one is way more flattering and gives you a great silhouette.

The black one looks more bulky round the waist and the shape of the back cutout looks odd, and a bit saggy. I'm not sure the black one is well cut.

I prefer the black one, but then I'm very safe when it comes to colour. It will be easier to accessorise etc. Although you could perhaps get away with a size smaller? I love the shoes too!

The pink one is not very flattering as it is too small. I like the black one from the front but I don't think it looks great from the back with half a tattoo!

a dress showing a tattoo is so tacky (not judging tattoos i have one myself) but it just looks dreadful . you have a lovely figure, the dresses look cheap and nasty

You are super pretty and have a lovely figure but I don’t like either dress. Pink slightly better but looks a bit cheap and black one don’t like the shape and dislike the back and tattoo showing sorry op but I’m sure you’ll find something more better.

Wow such mixed responses! I’m with Immigrantsong, I’d choose a different style altogether.

Sorry I don’t like either. Neither is flattering on you, the pink on emphasises your midriff and the black one makes you look straight up and down from the back. ASOS has so many nicer dresses!

I'd swap the black one for the next size down so it comes up a bit shorter and a tad tighter but if you don't have the time or concern, fuck it, you still look like hot tamale central

You are stunning, OP, but I think there are much nicer dresses out there. I agree with pp that the pink looks too small and the black too big - you need something just right, like Goldilocks.

It's so frustrating when they are both the same size but one is too big and one too small. I think I will order something else bit keep the black as back up for now.

I really like the front of the black one but not the back. Not keen on the pink at all.
