Soy the puffa sounds really good & lovely n cosy.
twosoups that Zara dress is fab on you & jumper is really lovely.
Talisin nods head back, a wise purchase 😃

dontcallmelen · 24/11/2018 17:05

miss it’s looks really smart, think depends on how much actual fabric/drape on the top half it could look really fab with heels & statement earrings.

neveradullmoment99 · 24/11/2018 17:13

I'm sure someone ordered that dress on here. Maybe Soyo? Really cant remember.

SoyYo · 24/11/2018 17:48

Yes I ordered that dress but returned, at full price wasn’t worth the £ IMO and mainly because on me it wasn’t great.
The jersey is quite thin which helps it drape well so hope it suits you miss and with the discount definitely worth a try.

soup the Zara dress suits you!

Hi there , well its all been a bit heavy around here as it has finally hit home with DSF , (but you dont really need to know about that, we know it will be a long process and that some days will be sadder than others ).
aAnyway i have been thinking that I NEED a decent coat for the funeral..(I already have a suitable dress bought from Laura Ashley and worn before) . Nothing in Hush is really doing it for me (have considered the Pele coat, but it doesn't seem quite right) but thinking about This Jaegar one. it would be an 'investment piece' . What do you think? If i do buy it , i want to be able to ear it lots at that price ,and I dont want it to sit in the cupboard waiting for funerals..

Laska3Meryl · 24/11/2018 18:18

I do like a Boucle coat.. Smile

Laska3Meryl · 24/11/2018 18:25

Soy and Never (hello again , I should change back also ? - or perhaps to just Laska2Meryls ) . glad you love th epuffa! . adore my ( more expensive!Angry version. But then at least my Mum got to see (and love it also).. so it can be no real regret..
Of yes , what am I wearing to day?. well I have hardly been out except to the tip! and to take DH to ferry as he needed to go back early ( he took the whole week off to be with us and now really needs to go into work tomorrow) . so I am currently sporting Blue striped Amies and a (totally unmatching) cream/black stripe Laura Ashley tshirt ( Hmm stylish.. ) But I am here on my own and so who cares ? And have WineSmile

neveradullmoment99 · 24/11/2018 18:27

That is absolutely gorgeous @Laska. I love boucle and its a beautiful versatile shade. Do you mean your step father laska [ sorry not good with abbreviations]. Loss is so hard. I dread when its my mums time. How are you though?

Laska2Meryls · 24/11/2018 18:29

and so I am (slight name change)

neveradullmoment99 · 24/11/2018 18:30

No! You must leave your name. It reminds me of the meryl -gate Grin
Anway, as for what i'm wearing, I havent been doing much today but am in my suzie grey velour skinnies. I love them. Got them yesterday and washed and wore them for today. I also have my faces tee on with a long white hush vest underneath. Going to pop my cashmere cardi on and off for some pub grub since my SIL has the children until tomorrow night.

neveradullmoment99 · 24/11/2018 18:31

I can accept 2meryls Grin

neveradullmoment99 · 24/11/2018 18:32

I love the puffa but i tend to wear things that are too long for it which is annoying. My cardi is too long so need to wear my parka. Kind of annoying.

neveradullmoment99 · 24/11/2018 18:34

Its annoying, can you tell too many bloody annoyings Grin

Laska2Meryls · 24/11/2018 18:41

So you think its is worth getting then Never? others i have seen havent had the quality . I did look at the Monsoon Beatrice coat in their sale.. but it just doesn't seem worth it if you look at the fabric. (I always think coats are really investment pieces, not 'throwaway' fashion and you should go for the best - but I am old school here, this is how i was brought up .. we were not wealthy so things had to be the best we could afford and needed to last )

Yes he is my step father but I o think of him as my Dad and he has brought me up from a child . My family is complicated, I also have a 'real father' - who i dont know - who is still alive at 95 and in a care home.. its a long complicated story but has been even more complicated recently by a biological sister who is determined to keep me not knowing him and has stopped my access, mostly due to potential inheritance ..) . What is even worse is that i shall have to be at Mums funeral with said sister.... (sigh, But I am determined , and will behave with total dignity)

neveradullmoment99 · 24/11/2018 18:52

Families eh? That's sad about your biological sister. Its a pity. Money brings out the worst in people. I am sure you will be very dignified @Laska [ In your Jaegar coat]
I think its gorgeous. I would still browse a little more though just incase you see something you like better and to be sure its what you want.

neveradullmoment99 · 24/11/2018 18:55

Its a classic style. I love the toast coats but they are £££. I may see if they reduce. Have you looked?

Stunning. I so want one...:(

Holidayshopping · 24/11/2018 18:57

Very long shot, but...

Has anyone seen anything like this lovely lovely star top by Hush? It’s one that I didn’t manage to win on ebay recently and I was wondering if anywhere just happened to be selling one similar?! Sad

Hush Christmas - its a slipper-y slope and a ding dong meryl-y on high :)!
Laska2Meryls · 24/11/2018 19:00

Oh That is lovely neverand also (but I think I do need black?)..I am though thinking of a trip over to JL in Southampton tomorrow..Id like to try the Jaegar one on and they also have a Toast concession in their store

whiskyremorse · 24/11/2018 19:00

I've had a lovely shopping weekend so far with a cheeky sale order of the moon and stars long necklace and the LL t-shirt in black. I've worn the grey loads so have been waiting for a discount to buy another. Then I won the Hush zebra skirt on ebay for £22 after ordering Ella's sainsburys dress!

Laska2Meryls · 24/11/2018 19:02

Actually that Toast coat is really lovely... maybe nicer than the Jaegar

holiday (hi!) I dont remember that Hush Top at all .. anyone else ?

Laska2Meryls · 24/11/2018 19:06

So what colour would you go for if you were buying it Never? Indigo or Chestnut? It is gorgeous

Laska2Meryls · 24/11/2018 19:19

OhWowOhWowOhWow.... (but look at the price!! Shock)

ilovecherries · 24/11/2018 19:52

It’s a beautiful coat, Laska. My only hesitation would be will it just always be associated with sadness for you? This may just be me, but I’m not good at wearing clothes bought for ‘special’ funerals again, they just make me too sad. OTOH, if you can wear it thinking that your stylish mum would love it and want you to wear it lots, then go for it. It’s certainly gorgeous.

ilovecherries · 24/11/2018 20:01

I had a very unsuccessful sale order. Anya coat - dreadful on me. I was sure when I tried it in JL that I needed a 12, but it’s huge, shapeless and makes me look pregnant. Didn’t like the colour in daylight either (which isn’t boding well for the nibbled cashmere which hasn’t arrived yet). To Sintra shirts, which I sent back before as I didn’t think they were worth the money. They still aren’t. And a paloma which I also think is making me look vast, but will reserve judgement till the peek a boo tops arrive. I’d have liked it longer though. A tiger scarf which I do like but is reeking of Poison.
