Love, love Kate's updo, very glam, and I have serious earring envy. She's really going to town! Megs has some earring bling on, as well. Very mean not to pose for pics!!

They can probably stay the night- there's enough bedrooms or leave the cars and get a lift back from their security detail.

From what little I can see of Kate's dress, it looks vaguely Marchesa. But if not that then I think custom Jenny Packham, as per usual.

I wonder if Meghan in black is a deliberate attempt to downplay the attention on her and stop the accusations of her attention seeking? The DM have got the knives out at the moment, she probably wants to just lie low, plus feeling bloated and crap.

I love those earrings of Kate's! Wish we could see the whole outfit - especially as it seems different from her usual choices.

I may be being a bit shitty here, but my first thought on why Meghan isn’t wearing a bright colour is because she doesn’t want all the tedious ‘oh yes, how fabulous with your skin tone...’ sort of nice-but-othering comments. Maybe I’m wrong and I hope I am but I think at an occasion like that for her FIL it makes sense for her to go boring.
