Yes or no to a jumpsuit...

Need an outfit for an evening event at the end of the month.

Spotted this is Phase Eight yesterday but can't decide on anything! Always appreciate the S&B thoughts and opinions, so over to you.

Yes or no to the actual outfit (I've never worn a jumpsuit before!)

If yes, green or red as the colour? I wear alot of red so this a safe colour choice, but I love the green on the hangar, and then put it on and wasn't sure!

Also, the fit of the green v's the red? Green is a 14, red is a 16.

Will go with majority!

Both look lovely, I prefer the red though I'm not sure why!

MistakenHoliday · 04/11/2018 15:03

Another vote for the red here - it looks lovely!

Russell19 · 04/11/2018 15:06

Red looks better xx

BlancheM · 04/11/2018 15:12

The red one is perfect.

fishonabicycle · 04/11/2018 15:43

Red looks better

Figgygal · 04/11/2018 15:44

I prefer the green

VictoriaBun · 04/11/2018 15:56

They are both nice . May I be bold and suggest you adjust your bra straps and yank up those boobs - they need to sit higher up to do your figure justice.

Redtartanshoes · 04/11/2018 15:58

Green looks like it fits better

Maelstrop · 04/11/2018 16:05

Prefer the red. I agree about hiking up your bra, breasts should be much higher/better supported which also improves the silhouette.

AnythingConsidered · 04/11/2018 17:01

Red it is and an appointment booked to get a decent bra too!

Thank you ladies

Definitely the red! I need to follow the boob hike advice too!

Theyprobablywill · 04/11/2018 17:09

Red, the green one makes you look like a root vegetable.

championquartz · 04/11/2018 17:26

Going against the grain here, I prefer the green and I think it fits you better

mizu · 04/11/2018 17:28

Red one

Veterinari · 04/11/2018 17:28

The fit on the green is better - get a 14. Both colours look nice

Parttimewasteoftime · 04/11/2018 17:30

Red one

Racecardriver · 04/11/2018 17:33

Could u suggest you look st some different styles? Jumpsuits are usually super flattering if you fibd the cut that works for you.

DeadBod · 04/11/2018 17:33

I like the red in the 16. The 14 looks ok but what's it like when you move around or sit down?
Green looks a bit elf like.

The 14 fits okay. I did the sit test and it was good, the top was a little tighter than the 16 & the pockets didn't seem to sit quite right, but even the shop assistants couldn't agree on which fit was best..

My ego wants it to be the 14 but I'm worried about camel toe!!

I've lost 5 stone this year and have developed a waist (which I have never had before) and still not sure how to dress it.

@TheyProbablyWill and @DeadRed hadn't thought about Elf/Vegetable angle, but loved the colour and it isn't one I would usually wear, which is what appealed Grin

@RacecarDriver do you mean to try other styles of jumpsuits?

The high neck is not flattering

Lidlfix · 04/11/2018 18:15

I think a wrap style too or lower neckline would be more flattering for your boobs. High necklines can be a bit matronly. Other than that your waistline and legs look great.

nononsene · 04/11/2018 18:16

I nearly bought the green one for a wedding. It’s lovely. Prefer the red on you.
