Here we go again!

And by popular demand, here are the previous threads:

Thread 6
Special edition: Eugenie wedding thread

Harry and Meghan have 2 days more in NZ before they head back to London and, if I was her, I'd put on pyjamas, get Netflix fired up, and not leave my bed for several days! William and Kate will be out for a sporty engagement in Essex tomorrow and I'm sure we'll start to see them more as she's now officially back from maternity leave..

No idea what the continental royals are up to but New My Royals (does that title even make sense?) is my go-to link for them!

It was short for something like tiganello, which was the name of a wine she liked.

AhoyDelBoy · 04/11/2018 09:26

Oh ok and that wa her blog name, ‘The Tig?’ Those days are long behind her that’s for sure. Waiting five months for a pair of Louboutins etc Grin

AhoyDelBoy · 04/11/2018 09:26

Was*

Quantumblue · 04/11/2018 09:45

I found that quite unexpectedly moving, seeing Diana with her babies.

beanaseireann · 04/11/2018 10:05

One of her inspirational quotes is 'Teach your daughters to worry less about fitting into glass slippers and more about shattering glass ceilings.'

Ironic

QueenOfTheAndals · 04/11/2018 10:11

@Quantumblue She looks so young doesn't she? Just 21 or 22 when William was born.

owlshooting · 04/11/2018 10:23

That is indeed ironic bean.

AhoyDelBoy · 04/11/2018 10:28

I think she had William just before her 21st birthday Shock

owlshooting · 04/11/2018 10:29

Charles is just coming across as such a pillock in these DM articles. It's actually breathtaking.

QueenOfTheAndals · 04/11/2018 10:32

I don't know who Charles' PR advisor is but they should get the sack! He was doing quite well in the popularity stakes after H&M's wedding but this recent media onslaught smacks of petulance.

OP posts:
AhoyDelBoy · 04/11/2018 10:39

This looks like George, does it not? Shock
Some great old photos in the link below. Charles was a massive baby!

I agree with you QueenoftheAndals.
Massive PR fail.

ItsNiceItsDifferentItsUnusual · 04/11/2018 11:41

Curly that blue dress Diana is wearing at Harry's christening isn't a million miles from something Kate would wear now. Beautiful tailoring.

YearOfYouRemember · 04/11/2018 11:44

I don't know what a pp has read but I didn't see that Prince Charles had said that Meghan and himself had "got over" their disfucntional families but that they bonded over understanding how had it can be to have them.

Lovely photo of toddler Harry with Charles.

@AhoyDelBoy

The Andrew/Fergie remarriage rumour has swirled for years. They live together, they holiday together and he funds her

I've read many threads over the years that they would've remarried but for Philip refusing to have her back in The Firm

But with the birth of Louis, Andrew no longer needs HM's permission and there would be no need to Fergie to have an official role she could be as invisible as Tim Laurence though given her personality she won't shrink away

They are as good as married anyway, and B and E had a much more functional family upbringing than W and H because they coparented and supported each other. It's been maybe since after the Oprah mess she got into that they have become unofficial common law partners again so 7-10 yearsor so

PawneeParksDept · 04/11/2018 11:56

Is everyone aware of the Harry/Megan first tour spesh on ITV tomorrow night 9pm?

Alwayscheerful · 04/11/2018 12:00

Meghan'sum Doria has been invited to spend Christmas with the royal family. Unpresedented.

Alwayscheerful · 04/11/2018 12:00

Mum.

IPromiseIWontBeNaughty · 04/11/2018 12:01

Say what you will about Andrew & Fergie as people but they seem to be good parents (if a bit extravagant).

QueenOfTheAndals · 04/11/2018 12:25

Very true @IPromiseIWontBeNaughty, Beatrice and Eugenie seem nice, albeit a little immature for their ages (judging by the recent interview), and they've never done anything more scandalous than wear a silly hat!

OP posts:
QueenOfTheAndals · 04/11/2018 12:28

Where'd you hear that @Alwayscheerful? I thought the Middletons had been invited to spend Christmas with the royals before, but I might be mistaken.

OP posts:
Alwayscheerful · 04/11/2018 12:32

The Middleton's have previously been invited to attend Church with the RF.
I would rather be at home in my PJs.

Royal style and gossip: the frocks, the rocks, the shocks
beanaseireann · 04/11/2018 12:36

Meghan would hardly leave her Mum alone for Christmas, particularly as she doesn't appear to have a relation or friend who could have come to the wedding with her.
On the other hand perhaps she did invite people to come to M&H wedding, they attended and she had their support and they were just faces in the crowd at the wedding but not recognisable by the public.
I do hope so.

Clionba · 04/11/2018 13:06

Thursday BBC1, 9pm, documentary about Prince Charles at 70. I've just watched the trailer and William and Harry are all positive about Pa!

Butterymuffin · 04/11/2018 13:35

Really pleased Doria is being invited for Christmas. I've never understood the sense in the Royals excluding people who have become part of the family by marriage. It doesn't help their image and it makes it more likely that actual family decide, as William has done on various occasions, that they'd rather go to their in laws instead.
