Harry and Meghan have 2 days more in NZ before they head back to London and, if I was her, I'd put on pyjamas, get Netflix fired up, and not leave my bed for several days! William and Kate will be out for a sporty engagement in Essex tomorrow and I'm sure we'll start to see them more as she's now officially back from maternity leave..

No idea what the continental royals are up to but New My Royals (does that title even make sense?) is my go-to link for them!

Hopefully this will work...reading the Mail (I'm at my parents) and thought this was a really good show of the rainbow of outfits Meghan wore on the tour. Considering how back and navy we felt she was, there's actually more colour than we I gave her credit for!

Happy Birthday Queen! And thanks for the Meghan Green other stories pic. I went shopping this morning specifically looking for a meghan green scarf as I can't afford a new coat so thought I'd try accessories and didn't see any so will give their website a whirl instead:)

That's an odd article in the Mail @frugalkitty. Don't think I've ever seen them tot up the cost of Kate's tour wardrobes!

As usual, when I go shopping with something specifically in mind, I can never find anything. I've returned home empty-handed but I suppose my bank balance will thank me for that!

The Mail used to tot up Kate’s tours too, Meghan is public enemy number one over there at the moment though and Kate the second coming so I imagine they’ll lay off her for a bit

Personally I don't think you have to spend sooo much to look good.
Meghan certainly doesn't. She'd manage to look amazing good in a plastic sack.

No idea why Meghan is enemy no 1 with the Mail, apart from the obvious reason. Even though she had a few sartorial misses during the recent tour, they can't fault her work ethic and commitment to her role!

I don’t think Princess Eugenie’s dress was over the top at all, she didn’t even wear a veil! It could be said that Meghans dress and huge veil combo was over the top for non royal on her second marriage, so to have a dig at Eugenie who is a Princess and saying she was trying to compete with Kate and Meghan is very unfair, like most brides I expect she picked a dress she felt beautiful in, just as she should.

Ah I may have misread your post Queen you said the wedding was over the top not the dress, apologies, though I still think it was a lovely wedding.

Oh her dress was lovely but I bet it was Andrew and Fergie who were behind the massive celebrity guest list (Demi Moore??) and carriage ride, I'm sure.

Plus the interview with Andrew where he said Eugenie had more friends than H&M was cringeworthy. None of it her fault but he could've reined it in.

That Meghan rainbow was sadly dull.
The £130k was paid for by the foreign office. But as a proportion of the total cost; I think it was probably small.

I think she should just wear flats more often. I thought she looked cute.
She wore gladiator sandals, flat pumps, trainers, boots.
I don’t think she should risk wrecking her feet ( again) for the sake of fashion.

Thanks @CurlyWurlyTwirly, I didn't end up buying anything but when I got home, the silk blouse I found on eBay earlier this week had arrived. But it's fuchsia rather than Meghan green!

Fuchsia sounds fab. You just need a pleated skirt to go with it!

when a member of the Royal Family goes on an official tour abroad all their clothing down to their underwear is paid for by the embassies of the countries they are visiting. These bills are then sent to the Foreign office.. In other words, they are paid for by the taxpayer.

@CurlyWurlyTwirly I actually bought one over the summer, but it's electric blue so I won't be wearing it with the fuchsia blouse! Then again, maybe I'll start a new trend...

I agree Queen I did love the ceremony but could not fathom why Demi Moore was there, bizarre! And yes Andrew’s interview was cringe, he did redeem himself a bit in my eyes though when he was arranging Eugenie’s train, I thought that was quite sweet, something I never thought I would say about Prince Andrew! It will be interesting to see if Beatrice ever gets married if she will have the same type of wedding? After hearing all the media criticism of her sisters I imagine she will think twice. Maybe she will do a more private version, though that won’t be good news for us Royal fashion watchers!

£130k is a lot of money, but then again Melania Trump managed to rack up a $95k hotel bill for the 6 hours she spent in Cairo on her trip there - not even an overnighter . So it's not like the Royals are uniquely expensive!
