elmo1980 · 26/10/2018 12:53

What are you wearing them with?

pippaisaidiot · 26/10/2018 12:54

A black leather skirt

ThankyouLinus · 26/10/2018 12:56

No, I love them 😍

MumUndone · 26/10/2018 13:04

Yes, too much.

PaulHollywoodsleftbollockhair · 26/10/2018 13:40

GRim.

WoofofWallStreet · 26/10/2018 13:41

Love them. It's for a night out, bloody well go for it Grin

Chewbecca · 26/10/2018 13:57

Where does the skirt end? I think it would look tacky with the bows on show.

Ohyesiam · 26/10/2018 14:00

I’d say it looks a bit desperate for affirmation/ attention. I wouldn’t judge that at all, I really know both of those places. It’s hard being a young woman, but that is what I’d think.

pippaisaidiot · 26/10/2018 14:02

I always wear tights on a night out you see because I hate my legs ..I get bored of plain black tights and hate skin coloured tights.

Dontfeellikeaskeleton · 26/10/2018 14:03

Totally acceptable.

MorrisZapp · 26/10/2018 14:05

Assuming the detail is designed to be visible below your skirt, I'd worry about them looking increasingly wonky as the night wears on. That's gonna take some precision in the toilets. Are you a precise person, on a night out?

GraceMarks · 26/10/2018 14:06

I always wear tights too if I'm wearing skirts, but I do think these look a bit much. Patterned/textured ones can give you a change from plain black, or why not try a different colour like burgundy or forest-green? I don't like the flesh-toned variety either but there's more to choose from that just those or black.

LettuceP · 26/10/2018 14:07

Sorry I think they are really tacky and will look tarty

Kittysacunt · 26/10/2018 14:08

Are the models shoes on the wrong feet Grin

OwThatsGottaHurt · 26/10/2018 14:08

How short is your skirt?? Must be v v v short if you are asking the question. And in that case I'd say stick to plain black if you don't want to look "tarty".

MoltonSilver · 26/10/2018 14:08

Not a good look. Sorry.

redwineandcrisps · 26/10/2018 14:10

I think it’s a bit, erm, not classy?

Miyajima98 · 26/10/2018 14:13

Depends on what you're wearing it with on the top half, what shoes and where you are going. Eg worn with flat ankle Chelsea boots, mini skirt and woolly jumper might look cool whereas worn with a low cut top and heels might look OTT- but obviously depends on where you are going.

JosellaPlayton · 26/10/2018 14:13

I didn’t know those tights were still around- they were super popular for a brief period when I was at university (I’m now 29). Thank you for bringing back some memories! Personally I think they’re best left in 2008 but if you want bring them back I’m with you but definitely not with a leather skirt. We would have paired with a Kate Moss for Topshop tea dress and an entire black eyeliner crayon if you need inspiration!

Bluntness100 · 26/10/2018 14:14

With a short leather skirt yes it's a but tacky. Sorry op.

MorrisZapp · 26/10/2018 14:15

I'm also getting misty eyed here for my mini skirt days of yore.

al2002 · 26/10/2018 14:16

Ugh ! Horrible, thought that trend had long passed.

pinkhorse · 26/10/2018 14:19

They are hideous and very dated now.

Angelcd · 26/10/2018 14:20

If you want to wear them then go for it.x

Ploppymoodypants · 26/10/2018 14:21

I think with a dungaree dress and Doc Martens then fine. If you are going ‘out, out’ and intend to wear heels and a dressy dress or skirt it’s a no from me I am afraid.
