And Cake .

AFingerofFudge · 01/11/2018 21:46

It is funny though that I chat to you lot like friends but mostly have no idea where you all leave. That is not an invite to out yourselves , just a comment!

AFingerofFudge · 01/11/2018 21:46

Live not leave

Laska5772 · 01/11/2018 21:47

We have only about 160,000 living here, but I live on the Isle of Wight.. Any post office people reading will immediately know who I am , because I think I am the only one who has Hush deliveries (or so many Hush deliveries that it is noticeable to them ) Grin

Laska5772 · 01/11/2018 21:49

I do think you must all talk with the same ( slightly country burr - ooh aah, tractor look) accent as me! ...

Laska5772 · 01/11/2018 21:52

... I only know about Heavy because i once lived up Newcastle way .. (well Durham)

Laska5772 · 01/11/2018 21:53

Though I am originally a Hampshire Hog (as we say round here )

NotAnActualSheep · 01/11/2018 21:56

Haha! (waves to any Isle of Wight PO people lurking Grin ).

I did comment to the postman this morning that I'm seeing more of him than usual because I've had so many deliveries recently (hope he didn't take that the wrong way Blush ). I think its because I've been so busy with work this year that I have had so little time to go into town independent of DH/DS - and they wouldn't approve of general browsing for clothes anyway. And when I do go, I get so annoyed that so many things are out of stock in my size and the shop assistants invite me to order it online instead. So I've developed a bit of an addiction to online shopping. It is soooo easy...

NotAnActualSheep · 01/11/2018 21:57

Ah - I used to live in Durham for a bit. I do miss it. And also Southampton. I miss that a bit less.

Laska5772 · 01/11/2018 22:01

We dont have many decent chain shops here (although lots of quirky independents, which is good) .. So I do go to Southampton for mainstream shopping .Its v easy from here ..

Were you at Uni there Not?..they have some great music venues ..

NotAnActualSheep · 01/11/2018 22:11

No, I went to school in So'ton (suburbs), and moved away for uni. So I didn't really venture into the trendy student bits, and they hadn't done up the waterfront so much (apart from Ocean Village) before I left. It's a bit better now I think (my parents have moved now, so haven't been for a few years). We used to go to the IoW on the Red Funnel Ferry in the holidays sometimes! I really liked it actually (prettier than Southampton...) - not been back for years...

neveradullmoment99 · 01/11/2018 22:55

I get my account too when I open the link to the slippers. Bathgate is in Scotland by the way. Weird.

Laska5772 · 02/11/2018 08:42

Just nabbed a Meryl in Pink .. Smile was a S though (I wanted XS) .. hope its not too big

Laska5772 · 02/11/2018 08:48

I wanted grey (but then I have a lot of grey anyway ) but as the pink seemed to have gone quickly I thought i'd try that .. what size is your Meryl Not?

Am off to mainland again to day so see DM in hospital (and rest of family also ..)
Am wearing last years Hush Grey wide top, charcoal jeans , charcoal vest under ( this is becoming a bit of a uniform!) and Hultquist small stars necklace with my lovely Tamaris suede ankle boots.. Ill be wearing the Hush Puffa also !

dontcallmelen · 02/11/2018 09:05

Laska hope visit today goes well, outfit sounds very cosy.

NotAnActualSheep · 02/11/2018 09:14

Mine is an S @Laska. Obviously big, but I don't think I would want it smaller for the style, for me. Lucky you with the pink!

Hope your day goes as well as can be hoped... your outfit sounds lovely. I'm wearing one of those william morris dresses with a cosy cardigan today.

neveradullmoment99 · 02/11/2018 10:25

The sparkly gold easy dress just dropped in my basket Ooops!

neveradullmoment99 · 02/11/2018 10:29

and the double star necklace and black leggins
I love the print of that dress Not It looks really nice especially with the cardigan.

neveradullmoment99 · 02/11/2018 10:39

How did everyone get on with their boots? @laska did you keep your fly london ones? I remember you ordering them. Someone else ordered an amazing pair of boots from daniel footwear. Biker style with a zip at the side. Loved those...

neveradullmoment99 · 02/11/2018 10:41

Cant wait to see the pink jumper laska! I love the colour!!

Huffthepuff · 02/11/2018 10:45

I ordered those zip boots from Daniel Footwear @neveradullmoment99 They are the softest leather and was able to wear them out for the day immediately with no rubbing. Only tiny gripe is they could do with being a bit chunkier and taller to balance out the width of my legs IYSWIM. I'll post a pic soon, hopefully with my H&M Meryl dupe when that arrives. It's being delivered by Hermes though so it could take a while!
