Limpy that would be interesting to know. I’m sure I read something ages ago about the DoC wearing a designer and it ruined them but maybe I’m imagining that 🤔
I looked at the website literally as soon as they said who it was by (I was watching the live footage) and it was still available. Would definitely be a different story now though!

Yes which is weird FlyMaybe. You’d think being tall and thin her dresses would be on the shorter side. She seems to like the 7/& look which isn’t for me. I’d look ridiculous wearing that length as I’m too short.

Dunno about that dress she had on with the stripes, it looked a bit flimsy. I can only imagine it was really hot? Bit casual really.

Lurk on these threads a lot, guiltily for the most part as I know nowt about clothes and feel a true imposter. However, plucking up the courage to contribute as follows:

• Meghan has beautiful colouring and facial features, but I think as her pregnancy progresses and she puts on some weight, she’ll look even better. Some women look better when not skin and bones, I think MM is one of them

• I’m convinced Kate dabbles with Botox, and has had her hair extensions removed recently

• I also think Kate has always looked better with a few extra pounds. Her figure is great for haute couture, but she looks quite childlike I think (her body, not her face which looks just the age she is). Like the Spanish queen: you feel they must be on such a tightrope all the time, watching what they eat and exercising so brutally. You feel bad for them. Eugenie who just got married looked so well for a bride. Of course she is patently in love with her husband and was very happy to be marrying him and is used to the attention, but unlike Kate who had a Barbie doll figure on her wedding day with not an inch of spare flesh in her, she looked relaxed and happy and not at all tense or stressed out

• I really hope Meghan quits with the “flesh” coloured tights. She hasn’t found her shade yet, and they’re just awful

• both women need to put their hair away I think. If they want to be taken seriously, for their brains and their contributions, they have to stop letting their appearances get in the way. All the fiddling and tucking and flicking and so forth: it either draws attention or distracts. Hair should be a non-issue when you’re talking about mental health, or the Grenfell Tower or whatever

• I also think both women, not far off 40, dress age appropriately (maybe not Kate, bit matronly), but the hair and make-up is all very still-in-my-20s. Kate has toned down the eyeliner in recent years, but I think both women have a tendency to be over made-up. They’ve both got great skin and good features. They don’t need it.

• I think Meghan needs time to settle into the UK, marriage, the royal family, and being so much in the public eye. Give her time and she’ll find her feet I’m sure

• Harry’s stepped it up a notch! What’s with that black ring on his right hand, those tight suit pants and his skinny skinny lapels?! He’s gone Home Counties scruff —-> Lower East Side in 6 months!

Meanwhile the Sussexes have arrived in Fiji. Meghan in cream Zimmerman but the dress looks a tad warm for Fiji, unless they're having cool weather.

Here's Wax n' Max's schedule for their state visit, which starts this morning. There's a banquet tonight so let's hope Maxima goes for maximum gownage! No official engagements involving Kate but I assume she'll be at the banquet.

Fiji - i think of colour and fun.

Hats off to her though - i feel like shite through the first half of pregnancy (and the second tbh) so ... she's doing well. She'll be tired and probably feeling odd with the changes going to her shape.

Yes, dress does look warm for Fiji, I’ve always imagined it’s quite humid there but don’t know if that’s correct or not. The black sling backs are getting quite the workout.

I'm really surprised she's there. I thought there'd be some diplomatic sleight of hand.

Anyway. IT'S MAX DAY!!!

It's windy and drizzly apparently. Some comments are speculating that it would have been awkward changing on the plane as it was pretty small.

I like her in cream but the dress looks like something Pippa would wear, and I'm not keen on the round neck but that's because I absolutely hate them on me!!! They feel really restrictive on me so when I see them on other people it makes my teeth itch.

I thought Harry looked nice in his light grey suit.

Would be very sticky with that temp and the humidity. Will we see Meghan out and about in Fiji or is she just accompanying Harry and sitting the engagements out?

I'd imagine the long sleeves are also a precaution against mosquitoes - I think the official advice is to keep fairly covered up. She's probably DEET-ed up to the eyeballs as well.

I think Maxima should go for a steel-brimmed Oddjob hat for certain MPs, myself... or at the very least one of those pokey ones and take a few eyes out.

Was going to say; the outfit looks very Kate; a part from the lack of colour. Meghan's bump seems to make her waist look wider. It looks like her maternity wardrobe is currently to wear a size larger.
Harry is looking sharp as nails. Love the navy / black suede shoes with the grey suit.

That weather forecast for Fiji doesn't look great - I don't think we'll be seeing many colours from Meghan other than black and navy.

I don't think the cream dress does anything for her unfortunately. It's actually the worst I've seen her looking (I feel mean saying that, obviously).

Imo this is the hardest bit of pregnancy to dress for. You've changed shape but don't really have a bump to work around.

I don't care about Meghan's wardrobe any more because today is more exciting than Christmas as MAX is coming to town!

I could have written your post, although I've never really noticed Meghan's make up which, to me, means it must be okay (as I can be mighty bitchy critical when I put my mind to it!)

Love that slides how of Max. Agree she looks fun. She makes an effort - sometimes it's a bit of a miss but most of the time she looks amazing and happy in some beautiful outfits...
