Hi everyone! As some of you may know, every week we trawl the boards to pick out the products MNers are 'swearing by'.

You may already receive our weekly Swears By newsletter, but you can also find a round-up of all of the products here on our Swears By page.

This week we were all about these Uniqlo Women's Corduroy Wide Cropped Trousers, £24.90, with newdocket exclaiming: "They are as comfortable as pyjama trousers! I am thinking of getting more in different colours."

Just like last month, let us know if we've missed something you've been loving and recommending this week for the chance to win £100 of Amazon vouchers. We'll pick a winner and announce them (and their must-have product) in November's first Swears By newsletter.

We might add a link into your post if we think it would be helpful.

And, if you want to be first to know about the next cult product, you can sign up to the newsletter here.

Mumsnet Swears By is free and independent from advertising but if you buy something through our posts, we may get a small share of the sale. You can find out more here.

I'm sorry? Wide cordoury trousers? What fresh hell is this?

forumdonkey · 10/10/2018 20:36

@ButDoYouAvocado. It's times like this I wish there was a like button

I'm trying to work out if these beauties are for 80's or from the 80's🤔🙄

ButDoYouAvocado · 10/10/2018 20:38

@forumdonkey I have only just realised they are also cropped! Bring me my flame thrower!

40andfeelingit · 10/10/2018 20:52

I spent an hour of my day in meeting with someone in said cropped wide trousers. Not courdroy but she was wearing pop socks. Don’t think she realised that every time she crossed her legs I got a glimpse of pop sock elastic - grim

forumdonkey · 10/10/2018 21:27

@40andfeelingit pop socks are clearly what is needed to create this corded combo. Where's the link to 'swear by' pop socks?

40andfeelingit · 10/10/2018 23:05

Ha ha - I honestly think there’d b a rush on them if they were flagged as a ‘swears by’. Don’t do it ladies 😂

Grin This thread should be retitled What Not to Wear

Ive been loving loccitaine Aqua Reotier Ultra Thirst Quenching Cream. It's light bit very hydrating with a light scent. I absolutely love it. If you like Clinique dramatically different cream then you'll like this, I've switched as the loccitaine cream cones in a glass jar so better for the environment Smile it took me a long time to find something that suited my dry skin, and something not too heavy to use everyday, that wasn't all in plastic!

This week, Mumsnetters have been discussing the perfect Autumn high-leg boots for any leg shape - and this £70 Simply Be offering was highly rated by cricketmum84, who gushed "I just bought a gorgeous pair on Simply Be that fit me perfectly."

This week Mumsnetters were on the search for their perfect winter coat - and @MsAdorabelleDearheartVonLipwig may have found it in the TOG24 Ilkley Women's TCZ Thermal Jacket, £80 (was £100), which she said is like wearing "a cosy snuggly duvet". Who could resist this glowing praise?

This week's must-have was this lovely New Look Chenille Slouchy Jumper, £15.99 - a jumper which @youvegottobekidding loved so much she said "I'm going to get another next month and I'll be putting one on my Christmas list too”.

Don't forget - it's your last chance to let us know if we've missed something you've been loving and recommending this week for the chance to win £100 of Amazon vouchers. Facial oil under usual moisturiser. I use apricot kernel oil - cheapo and a little goes a long way. It has completely cured the dehydrated look I started to get on my cheeks and neck, probably a result of age (I'm 40s) but also with the cold weather. Massage some in at night after cleansing, wait 10 mins, apply night cream (Nivea Creme in my case). Soft skin in the morning.

MrsBrill · 30/10/2018 14:29

Not sure whether shower gel counts as beauty but I love this Imperial Leather Moroccan Spa shower gel at the moment. It smells a lot fancier than its £1 label and reminds me of expensive spa treatments.

maryandbuzz1 · 31/10/2018 18:10

I love M&S collection Cotton Rich Strappy Vests. They are £5.00 but buy one, get one half price. They are long and great for this cold weather!

TidyLike · 01/11/2018 13:04

The Uniqlo cord trousers are reduced to £14.90, for the benefit of anyone tempted ...
