That's shocking about HoF. How do they expect to operate with T&Cs like that?
Today I have an old hush T with a small lightening bolt and my cosy c'est si bon sweatshirt.
I'm knackered! Currently on a very intense 2 week training course at work and I've just been exhausted with the concentration level.
Need to go and see my mum, then curling up on sofa to finish part 2 of Olive Kitteridge on sky.
Enjoy rest of your weekend everyone Smile

Ellapaella · 14/10/2018 13:14

@Laska5772 the name Mike Ashley is almost a swear word up here in Newcastle!

GinandGingerBeer · 14/10/2018 13:21

Oh yes, just wanted to ask, those of you with the wide jersey top, how have you got on washing it?
Are they ok on a delicate cycle? I have a green one and a grey, would you stick em in together or might the green run?

Ellapaella · 14/10/2018 13:42

@GinandGingerBeer I have the green, I just turn it inside out and put on a 30 degree wash.

neveradullmoment99 · 14/10/2018 13:48

I outvit on a delicate wash @30 and they are fine. Im not sure about colour run.

dontcallmelen · 14/10/2018 14:10

Soy crikey I’m exhausted just reading about your week, glad feet are on the mend nothing worse than blisters.
Yy Mike Ashley nasty way to do business, am not surprised he is a swearword in Newcastle.
I’m going to get my hair done in a while, so need to stop slobbing about & get sorted, my frayed French blue l/s tee has really badly frayed keep having to cuts bits off the sleeves & has developed a hole near the label which is annoying.

miffy2 · 14/10/2018 15:16

Thanks for that link, Ella, I will take a look.

Soy mind your foot. Skeckers are good for comfort, especially travelling.

Haven't had a chance to read fully since I last posted. Am loving my new H&M pleated skirt from the Morris & Co collection. I have already worn it 3 times. Wearing it with a navy uniqlo merino sweater and beige suede ankle boots. It appears to be OOS now but I am so glad I found one in my local H&M:

GinandGingerBeer · 14/10/2018 15:48

That's lovely @miffy2 Smile
I wish I'd bagged one now when I saw them in my local h&m but I had a sensible head on that day for once and decided I didn't need another midi skirt. Your outfit sounds lovely.

Thanks for the tips re jersey tops. I think I'll do them separately as it's their first wash.

ilovecherries · 14/10/2018 16:44

Nice to see you back Soy, but your poor feet. I wince even tho king about it (veteran of trade shows).

miffy, thanks for the link. I’m going to leave off ordering for a few days as a new email address won’t get me friends delivery and I’m not here towards to end of the week. Wouldn’t matter if postie took stuff back to sorting office, but it’s such a small village he feels safe with leaving it, usually in the bin...which my neighbour helpfully puts out without being asked if he sees us away. You can imagine where this scenario goes...

Today we didn’t go to Leeds as weather as crap but went for a drive to Harrogate instead. I bought a couple of boiled wool hats in a little boutique to wear if it’s too wet for a wig.

You all look great, love your chic work outfits Soy
Miffythat pleated skirt is lovely.Have you seen this?cashmere I think I will order a black one when I get home and size up.

Thanks for all the inspiration everybody.

ilovecherries · 14/10/2018 18:05

Oh, and have just discovered that the Hermes man left my JL parcel in the bin yesterday - without leaving a card to say where it was. Just noticed it a second too late as I was tossing the kitchen bin Angry. Anyway, no harm done, but also rather disappointing. Had high hopes of the grey/black crew neck cashmere as it suited you so well Laska, but it does nothing for me.

never, do you think a large would be big enough for me, or should I try XL in the Hush cashmere?

OP posts:
ilovecherries · 14/10/2018 18:08

I forgot how cold I got last winter without my padding. I always used to be hot, so it was a big shock to the system, and I’m freezing again already.

OP posts:
neveradullmoment99 · 14/10/2018 19:02

I would try the large. Generally I have been a small in most of hush's jumpers. For the cashmere, the medium is fine so try sizing up by one [Im thinking because you are busty?].

neveradullmoment99 · 14/10/2018 19:06
  • not because you are large, because you are not!
ilovecherries · 14/10/2018 19:17

It’s ok, I’m not that sensitive ;). But yes, the bust is distorting everything.

Laska5772 · 14/10/2018 19:17

ah that's a shame cherries .. What didn't you like about it?

Laska5772 · 14/10/2018 19:18

I loved it , see, ( but ive not shown it to anyone yet) do you think its a bit dowdy?

ilovecherries · 14/10/2018 19:35

I thought it suited you, Laska, which was why I tried it. I think it was probably too heavily marled for me. It gives a textured effect which makes me look massive. Or in fact, simply reveals my existing massiveness.

OP posts:
Laska5772 · 14/10/2018 19:42

It makes me feel like a cashmere fisherman!! . Again though I think I am of a squared shape /more chunky in the ribs than you , I could never be a 32 anything.. 36 even at my lowest weights .. also can never get into a dress less than a 14 for the same reason .

neveradullmoment99 · 14/10/2018 19:45

Im not sure I have seen the marl one on you laska but the yellow one looked lovely and no it isn't dowdy at all.

neveradullmoment99 · 14/10/2018 19:50

..and nice to here from you Soyo. You are always super busy. I have no idea how you do it! Love the idea of the tarty nails hee hee… Just the tonic!

noodlezoodle · 14/10/2018 19:54

Miffy that skirt is gorgeous. Not available online on the US site either so I will have to pop in and see if they have one in store. Sounds like a lovely outfit as well.

Cherries - parcel IN THE BIN?! I know Hermes are terrible but that takes the biscuit.

neveradullmoment99 · 14/10/2018 19:56

They've done that to me too!!! Fortunately they did leave a card saying. Once they left it in my dd playhouse right at the bottom of the garden and like a fool I had to venture down with a torch and nearly slipped in the wet mud on my ass!!

Laska5772 · 14/10/2018 20:20

luckiy we have an ex bin shed (now of no use as we have to have wheely bins now) just behind our side gate which is never locked , so parcels go in there.

Here are the jumpers never both JL cashmere .. I actually think ill be more likely to wear the marl one with jeans,, but was trying out marina options for some on here the the other day when we were discussing it .

I sent back the yellow chunky JL cashmere as decided it was too short ( but kept the joules one )
