Laska, that cardigan is seriously lovely.

Thanks so much for the link to the jumpsuit!

Laska5772 · 12/10/2018 20:17

Like the skinnnies cherries the fit ithink it depends I think on how you want to wear them , I sort of think maybe the 12 if it was me... but then remember, I am possibly 'old lady' thinking perhaps. (and still have a bit of a tummy myself) . You do look great in them,so if they feel great and 'you' then keep 'em.. ..

Seasalt cardi, I do love it, am really thinking I should maybe try the 10 , but i did only try it on with a vest top. DH ( who does have a good eye for these things) , does seem to think the 12 is the right size , but am going to give it another go with ivy dress , and also jeans and breton tomorrow tomorrow. That I think will tell me if it needs to be a little larger or smaller fit.. I want it to be snuggly , not restricting , but not swamping either .. It is expensive but has a lovely feel to it , unlike the much cheaper Fat Face one I tried a couple of weeks ago, which was really scratchy. (also longer , I like the mid thigh length of the Seasalt one , and the patch pockets also )

Soy Hola ! Are you here? We have just been playing Abraxas at dinner ..love a bit of Carlos!

Laska5772 · 12/10/2018 20:22

Now off to catch up with Killing Eve.. we are only one behind now and so will be up to date for tomorrow. Thanks Ella (i think it was) for the recommendation Smile..

No spoilers please if any of you have seen it all already on Iplayer..

ilovecherries · 12/10/2018 20:28

Oh, I don’t know. Everyone always says to go down a size, but I’m never sure. My tummy is never on show in jeans anyway. Argh. I need something to wear on my bottom half, that’s for sure, all my trousers ar3 heading south with minimal encouragement - don’t have to unbutton anything to take them off.

OP posts:
ilovecherries · 12/10/2018 20:30

The problem is that NOTHING actually feels like me, because I’m not sure what me should feel like yet. I need a personal dresser.

OP posts:
neveradullmoment99 · 12/10/2018 20:48

We are your personal dressers :)
I think the jeans are a very skinny fit and I am with @laska on this and think they would look better slightly looser. I suppose its personal preference? I am not fussed for really tight jeans personally on anyone including myself. Do you have the 12's? Could you post a picture of those?
I love the leather jacket on you @bobbins. Is it the hush one? Its gorgeous.

neveradullmoment99 · 12/10/2018 20:50

I really have so many clothes and need to air them. Going to put on my new hush shirt tomorrow with my skinny jeans and perhaps wear the face print tee under it.
I also need to ebay stuff to pay for my hush habit!!!!

neveradullmoment99 · 12/10/2018 20:51

@cherries, how did you get on with the M&S cashmere? Did it come yet?

ilovecherries · 12/10/2018 21:09

These are the 12s. Cashmere comes tomorrow :)

I’m meeting my sister and niece at Manchester Uni tomorrow I feel very emotional I had my best years in Manchester. I haven’t been back since 1994! I wish I still had my 1994 figure when I could go out it denim frayed shorts and tights!

AFingerofFudge · 12/10/2018 21:45

Sorry I've not been around for a few days, been on long days 😴

miss bobbins i love the jacket!
cherries I loved the tops you posted this morning. I think the 12's are better on you in the trousers

Day off tomorrow-yay! I have an old friend coming for lunch who used to be our lodger in our old London days in the 90's so each I know how you feel as it's strange going back (even if ours is through reminiscing!) to that time!

dontcallmelen · 12/10/2018 21:45

Each have a lovely time Never love your tops they suit you.
cherries the jeans look good, you suit the skinny jeans, I would go with whatever feels the most comfortable, it must be difficult getting your head around dressing for the shape you are now, you are tall & have lovely long legs, you can carry off pretty much anything.

dontcallmelen · 12/10/2018 21:46

Miss the jacket is lovely, looks very good on you.

neveradullmoment99 · 12/10/2018 21:48

The twelves look neater in your second picture. Strange. They definitely look looser. Personally, I prefer the fit of the 12's.

neveradullmoment99 · 12/10/2018 21:52

I thought they were both the 12.s but realise the ones to the right are the 10's. Ignore my comment before.
Right, the 12's look more like actual jeans the 10's look more like leggings. It depends upon how you want to style them. I think personally, the 12's are bog standard older look. The 10's are younger. I would go with the 10's when I see them both together.

neveradullmoment99 · 12/10/2018 21:52

Definitely the 10's.

neveradullmoment99 · 12/10/2018 21:53

As long as you are comfy and they don't dig in, especially if you kind of bloat as the day goes on [you may not because of your diet]

EachandEveryone · 12/10/2018 22:04

No idea what to wear maybe it’s time for my hush animal print leggings to come out

ilovecherries · 12/10/2018 22:11

I’m getting confused Grin! Both the first set of picture (front and side view) are 10s. Both the second set (lighting bolt top and grey cardigan) are 12s. I used to bloat terribly, but now I never do. I’m as comfortable at 9pm as I am at 9am.

OP posts:
neveradullmoment99 · 12/10/2018 22:17

Are the last two pictures both the twelves? You know the one with the grey cardigan and the lightning bolt top? In the first picture they seem much looser. In the second one they look tighter!
No carbohydrates = no bloat!

neveradullmoment99 · 12/10/2018 22:21

Looking back on your pictures - definitely look better in the second set of pictures. Keep the 12's. I think looking back, the 10's are a bit clingy looking.

ilovecherries · 12/10/2018 22:28

Yes, second set are both 12s. 12s it is then :). I just need something to keep myself decent without a saggy droopy arse.

OP posts:
neveradullmoment99 · 12/10/2018 22:40

Saggy droopy arse Grin They look great on you. You needn't worry. Do post the cashmere when you receive and get a chance. Which ones did you get. I think the longline grey one on the M&S site is lovey and not a bad price for £129 especially if you have 20% off.

neveradullmoment99 · 12/10/2018 22:45

Ive ordered the hush cashmere bf jumper in charcoal. Managed to get £20 off it with a referral. I wear my red one and camel one constantly. I truly love them both. Wanted the black one but it was OOS :) I also have some money in my paypal so it brings it down in price thank god. The thing is, I know I will wear it lots. Really the colours of the bf jumpers this year are pretty crap. Its such a shame they haven't included some lovely colours instead of navy, grey and black. I don't like high collar much as they heat me up too much and tend to itch my neck so the polo neck kind are out.
