Oh my goodness that lampshade skirt is fantastic!!!!!

QueenC I was just thinking how much I enjoy your Sunday fantastic shopping.

Went for a mooch yesterday. I really don’t need anything but just looking. NOTHING! I’m struggling with skirt lengths. I’m 5ft3......mini is too short, midi is too long. All I want is a burgundy work skirt, to the knee, not pencil, not pleated, not gathered.......impossible.
Time to get the sewing machine out?

QueenC aren’t you sick of navy? I’d love to see you in a fushia pink top, it would light up your I’m sure

Same here - would love to see QueenC in fuchsia or emerald.
Those boots are insanely sexy and insanely priced Shock.
I've just done a yoga class with DH, then miniShop has a party and then roast beef later. Love a chilled, sunny Sunday.
What's everyone up to?

I do have a fuschia/berry top although I haven’t worn it yet as it’s long sleeved and I’ve mainly been wearing 3/4 length ones. I guess I just feel comfortable in navy and I’m not sick of it as quite a few of my tops are patterned. Emerald is a funny colour on me. It’s one of my double star colours (HOC) but it has to be absolutely the right shade to look good one me. Too often it can make me look a bit sallow. Love cobalt blue but not much of that around at the moment. I used to wear a lot of coloured cardigans with navy tops but I’ve gone off that look so don’t have much colour in my wardrobe.

No plans here shop. Fajitas for tea, maybe some wine, catch up with strictly. May go for a walk if can be bothered!!

I love Sundays. We have been out to early lunch and supermarket in the new car (whoop whoop)

Loads of washing - such a glorious day
Some gardening
Love it

Also really like Mondays - but for a different reason

Love that everyone is enjoying the Sunday chilled vibes. I’m just walking the dog round the field in the sunshine. So lovely.

Ooh that watch is stunning QueenC. Will send it to dh and tell him if he's ever stuck for a present, this will do.Grin Having said that, I have spent a chunk of today quietly looking for a pair of earrings. They're worth £10k. No idea where they are. And I can't exactly tell dh that a) I am looking for something that I have lost or b) what I have lost.Hmm

Not again Blingy! Bet DH has cottoned on.

Still not feeling great but went for pub lunch so we don't have to do any cooking. Then home for some wardrobe organisation (Dds), family game & now about to give girls an early bath to be ready to watch first female Dr Who.

Not sure whether to go to work tomorrow. Worried about the intensity of the rest of the week if I miss Monday.

Hello, love the Sunday stories. Here dh was away all weekend at a conference but had such a lovely relaxed one with ds. Last night we went to friends for dinner and today chilled at home. I rearranged all his arts & crafts and swapped our wardrobes over for autumn/winter then we baked our lemon drizzle cake and decorated the house for Halloween. Dh just home & we’re cooking roast chicken for dinner.

QueenC would love to see you in brights too. Absolutely love the Mary K skirt you linked (the long one not the lampshade!). Right up my alley, Stokey’s too I would imagine.

Urgh my weekend was not as nice as yours all sound. I took Ds to my aunt's on Thursday to meet his second cousin, and spent all night from 1am on Saturday with d&v. I've never had it before and was terrified DS would get it Sad he's still not even 8 weeks. On Saturday evening I found out my aunt's household all had the bug on Friday Hmm luckily DS was only sick once, on Saturday night, and DH never succumbed at all, but I am still wiped out Sad

I finally got round to trying the Stories dress I ordered- the less said the better haha. Not me at all and I'm neither a 10 nor a 12 apparently, even after my weekend of not eating Blush

I have been using vitamin c serum for a couple of years. I use the skinceuticals serum 10. It's about £80 but does last ages and I'm very happy with my skin. I bought the garden of wisdom one for my sister to try so I'll be interested to see what she thinks.

Marsha thank you. Xxx I just blow dry with a barrel brush and then straighten the ends a bit with a very old, very cheap set of straighteners that my DD laughs at. My hair has always been thick and straight but as a few greys are sneaking in the texture is frizzy Shock

Hi, can I ask for some advice on ankle boots and jeans please!
Got these lovely purple boots and whilst fine with skirts/dresses they are quite tall which means if I turn my jeans up to rest on top of them it's a massive turn up with looks ridiculous. I've got skinny ankles so my very skinny jeans would easily go in them but that doesn't seem right either.
There seem to be more boots like this which aren't really ankle boots but are higher.
How are you meant to wear them with jeans?!
Stories order arrived, very nicely packaged but not had a chance to look properly yet!

Morning!

Omg, such a crazy busy time at work atm, the nice relaxing weekend seems so far away. All good though. Am savouring my morning coffee before jumping back in.

Vegas I love Jo Ellison from the FT’s style such as this trouser/boot look. Think you need a bit of a crop to your jeans to work with that boot height. Hope the stories stuff is good.

Marsha ooh, haven’t read that one must check it out. Atm am reading Putney by Sofka Zinovieff, so good.

Blair oh no, poor you. Ds’s immune system will be getting stronger and stronger though, glad he didn’t catch it. Ouch at the cost of your vit C but sounds amazing. Did your dermatologist recommend it?
