If you’re a regular on the Style & Beauty board, you’re probably familiar with Fitflop: purveyor of comfy sandals that you can walk for miles in, and favourite footwear brand of Mumsnetters with tricky feet. For those of you not in the know, Fitflops are shoes with a specially-engineered sole for optimum comfort and support, and they’re available in all sorts of colours and styles.

"I'm a massive fan of Fitflops. I live in them during the summer and walk miles daily with no blisters or discomfort."

"I've almost worn out my 3rd pair, these have lasted over 18 months, daily wear indoor and out!"

"My feet really ache in most shoes, but these ones are brilliant. They look smart, not showing massive wear (yet) and worth the money."

But Fitflops aren’t just for summer, you can navigate pavement puddles and frosty mornings in their closed toe styles, and we want to know about your favourite pair.

Whether you’ve already got a pair of trainers that you swear by, or you’ve got your eye on something new, take a look at Fitflop’s closed toe shoes, post a link to your favourite pair, and tell us why you like them.

We will choose 10 winners next Tuesday (11 September) and each of them will receive a free pair of Fitflops of their choice.

This thread isn’t sponsored by Fitflop, but we might use it to give us a steer on future content.

Mumsnet carries some affiliate marketing links, so if you buy something through our posts, we may get a small share of the sale (more details here).

These are gorgeous.. I bet they are super comfortable and would be the perfect transition shoe to Autumn.

I can’t wear heels at all anymore and find most flas shoes rather frumpy but not these.

I've got my eye on these. I have severe heel pain and am waiting for a scan. My gorgeous new blue sparkly fit flop sandals allowed me to make it round Disney Florida for two whole weeks. Comfortable from the first wear. Thanks FitFlop.

glasshouse · 03/09/2018 13:56

What's not to love. Comfortable, good looking and long lasting. I've been wearing sparkly fitflop sandals daily since April and they look as good now as the day I got them. I'd love these for winter, great colour.

I basically live in these beauties (excuse the scruffy nail polish!) all summer long, then wear boots from October onwards.

I love that they support my dodgy arches and I can walk for miles in them. I bought them in a lovely mustard yellow colour but then painted them black as they go with everything now. I do miss the mustard sometimes though!

Need some new boots this winter and these ones would fit the bill nicely!

Yes I like those ones too SpongeBob. Some of them look a bit odd with the thick soles, but the Gianna ones are really nice.

Anything Uma Thurman has designed is to be coveted.

I have chosen 'serene' given this is an ironic name for a pair of shoes associated with uma. She's fab and i also Iike the ladylike pearls Smile

Lovely news - feel the sheer joy of seeing 'Fitflop' and 'party shoe' together as the season of festivities approach - now this range is a celebration for your feet. The Serene loafers are cult chic in a minimal way, a glorious going-out successor to the Shuv.

Imagine the bliss of going out in your fave slippers but looking snap cool too - that's the Serene. And you can take the bus home if you like.

loafers

These are incredibly comfortable shoes which are suitable for both work and for the commute. I like to walk as much as possible during the working day but don't want to drag another pair of shoes around to change into.

CherryValance · 03/09/2018 14:20

I had no idea they did all these proper shoe styles! Mainly because I bought one pair about a decade ago and I'm STILL wearing them. They're just black flipflop style and I've worn them every Summer and holiday for ages, including in rock pools. So comfy, I've been dreading them falling apart but they appear to have Methuselah qualities!

I love my fitflops, they are so comfortable and all I wear apart from DMs in the winter! I particularly like these snakeskin Chelsea boots as they look comfortable and yet funky Smile.

I love these Pia leather ankle boots... www.fitflop.com/uk/en/shop/womens-new-arrivals-view-all-uk/pia-leather-ankle-boots-p-O29-001
I had no idea FitFlop did closed toe shoes until I read a fellow Mumsnetter posting about it the other day, now I have definitely got my eye on them!

wishingchair1 · 03/09/2018 14:26

I love these ones. Look really comfy and will transition well from Autumn to winter.

I could have chosen lots more though.

Fingers crossed. Size 6.5 if I get picked please. Wishful thinking!!

I'm currently hunting for a pair of smart, comfy trainers - and I'd not considered fitflop before. There are loads I'd like to try on the site though, they're a lot cooler than I'd imagined...

These look cracking on Uma Thurman... I want some! www.fitflop.com/uk/en/shop/womens-new-arrivals-view-all-uk/f-sporty-uberknit-lace-up-sneakers-p-L40-613

I love these!

They look smart for work, but if they’re anything like my Fit Flop sandals, they’ll be super comfortable for the walk to the office from the tube. I also like going for a walk on my lunch break, so anything I can do to enhance the exercise I do then would be great.

OhMyGodTheyKilledKenny · 03/09/2018 14:34

I like the look of the Casa loafer . A little bit more interesting than plain black but perfect for work where I do a lot of walking but need something smart.

Over the summer I kept seeing the advert for the metallic toe post sandals with a feather design on the front and was very tempted!

I know from owning some Shuv felt slippers how comfortable FitFlops are.

walkingtheplank · 03/09/2018 14:38

This has been quite an interesting exercise for me. I have various problems with my feet and have to be quite specific in what I can wear. Even have to wear a fit-flop type shoe around the house rather than slippers or bare feet. I hadn't realised that fit-flop did normal day to day closed-toe shoes so will definitely take a look.

I like these lace ups which are not the sort of thing I'd expect to find: Derby Lace Up

Love these :) perfect for the autumn/winter. So many lovely designs.

I didn't realise they did proper shoes, I l8ve in fitflops most of the year. these boots look really comfy

SmilingButClueless · 03/09/2018 14:55

I really like these, as they’re a little bit different from what I would expect from Fitflop, and love the colour! I like the Chelsea boot style as well, but sadly those don’t ever fit - I need something with laces or a zip,.
