I’m looking at you

Please tell me where you got your best ever ballet flats from, how much you paid and what they looked like

I am absolutely done with having pumps that fit well in the shop consequently shredding and disabling my feet the moment I do more than a 10 minute saunter in them.

Love those red Rothys. My Geox are more Chanel than granny, especially the leopard print ones which I just tried to link to but it seems they're discontinued.

Stimmyplip i love those...can't find a UK stockist though :(

Stimmyplip · 14/08/2018 21:24

I'm so surprised they aren't for sale in the UK yet! They just came out with their new colours today. I'm drooling!

The key for me is to choose ones which are cut a little higher so they don't catch on the bony big toe joint an are cut lower at the heel so they don't dig in where the ankle bends- this goes for all shoes, not just ballet pumps. My favourite pair are from Gabor- they are black suede with a bow on the front.

Alicatz66 · 15/08/2018 08:11

I tried on loads of French Sole .. hated them .. very narrow and uncomfortable

Ifonlyiweretaller · 15/08/2018 16:08

I agree @Fresta - I have some Gabor ones in navy suede and they have lasted me 2 years! Although from constant wear they are rather pongy now Blush. For anyone interested these are similar: bit.ly/2MStugI

Mine are from Clarks and they're on their fourth year but the fabric trim is looking a bit scruffy now, especially on the heel as I drive.

Have just ordered these to replace them as Clarks seem suddenly to have become prohibitively expensive.

Check out Clarks outlet, the prices are very realistic.

I love Gap ballet flats. I’ve had/got lots of pairs and they’ve never rubbed
