A casual pub wedding. And other stories. I’m a 38g above. Its not a wedding dress is it? Isn’t it a funny colour?

I agree with all the fashion advice you've had on this thread OP, there are nicer dresses out there for you that will flatter you much better. Some people just pick what suits them personally and ignore that other people have different shapes/colouring.

I'm busty too and halternecks are really good for me. I also adore tea dresses. I'm a 34G and I have strapless bras that really fit well so don't be afraid to find them - SimplyBe has them as do other shops.

When you find a dress that you really feel happy and beautiful in, then you'll be posting in celebration. Looking forward to those photos :)

I think you need some new shopping helpers. You have a lovely waist and those 3 aren't showing it off at its best at all. I think if you could find a nicer wrap dress (a little longer and a different colour to the one in the first pic) you would look lovely.

I wish I had your shape, you would look amazing in a tea dress just below the knee.

VimFuego101 · 15/07/2018 13:36

That last one (4th dress) is much nicer!

Seashell80 · 15/07/2018 13:37

It’s phase eight by btw

justme28 · 15/07/2018 13:37

I definitely think a wrap dress that shows off your waist.

FatBarry · 15/07/2018 13:37

I quite like the last one, not with the Fit Flops but the dress is suitable.

ScreamingValenta · 15/07/2018 13:37

The last one looks really good!

iloveredwine · 15/07/2018 13:37

I think you need a v neckline and knee length would be good

user546425732 · 15/07/2018 13:38

Much better.

sexnotgender · 15/07/2018 13:38

Last dress is soooo much better!

Undercoverbanana · 15/07/2018 13:38

Good grief. Get a friend out with you - someone who tells the truth and whose opinion you can trust and who knows your personality.

I bet you could look stunning in a really shapely dress with a flattering neckline ..... and some colour.

niceupthedance · 15/07/2018 13:39

The last one is the best.

There's also fat face in st Pancras but might be too casual for a wedding?

iloveredwine · 15/07/2018 13:39

something like this?

This is nice

MrsBertBibby · 15/07/2018 13:39

Loads better!

speakout · 15/07/2018 13:40

Yes 4th one is better.

I agree about a tea dress, you have lovely broad shoulders and a great bust, but needs balanced out with a fuller bottom half, and a slightly nipped waistline.

Undercoverbanana · 15/07/2018 13:40

Just seen the latest one. Much, much better.

How do you feel in it? Does it feel like “you”?

CountFosco · 15/07/2018 13:40

The shape of brown one (in a different colour!) could look fab on someone else but isn't working for you. The blue is a better shape because you can see your waist, legs and lower arms and the neckline is better but I'm not sure about the colour on you. The floral one would be rejecyed by my 81 yo MIL as too old fashioned and she'd be right (MIL has great style).

Onwards and upwards...

AjasLipstick · 15/07/2018 13:41

The last is the best cut by a mile but the print is horrid. Might look nice on a teenager but as a woman of a certain age, I know that certain prints don't suit us!

TornFromTheInside · 15/07/2018 13:41

From a bloke...

You have a fuller figure - no denying it. But you can make this an attribute and not a curse.
The dresses you've shown do nothing to make you look feminine. The last one isn't too bad, but still looks very sombre / office like.

Something light in texture and colour, with some colour in the pattern would do wonders.

Your hair is quite striking too, and you should use that!

You're a woman. Celebrate it, and choose a dress that makes you feel like one. Your body shape IS feminine - you just need to find a dress that says the same, instead of one that seems to be saying 'I don't like my body, so I'll try to hide it'.

annandale · 15/07/2018 13:41

Phew, last one is better but yes I think a bit dark.

Love that justme. Where from?
