A casual pub wedding. And other stories. I’m a 38g above. Its not a wedding dress is it? Isn’t it a funny colour?

That's a dressing gown, OP!

Love the sandals tho

Oblomov18 · 15/07/2018 13:26

Nope. Sorry, but both of those are not flattering at all.
Who is this? Suggesting such vileness? Hmm

Gemini69 · 15/07/2018 13:26

aawwww no to the 3 so far lady... but thank you for sharing.. I'll get a cup of tea.. for the next store :))))) Flowers

brizzledrizzle · 15/07/2018 13:26

The brown one isn't the right dress for you, the striped one is an improvement but I doubt that the shop staff know what they are doing.

YetAnotherSpartacus · 15/07/2018 13:27

The first one makes you look like Bhuddist Monk. @@

You need some comfy pants and a long tshirt that says 'my cats walk all over me' with pictures of giant paw prints :) :).

I hope you find something you love.

annandale · 15/07/2018 13:27

OMG! No way that last one!

ScreamingValenta · 15/07/2018 13:27

You need something shorter than no. 3 to show off your great legs.

Jimjamjooney · 15/07/2018 13:27

Generally I like those style dresses but it looks a bit big! Could you try a smaller size? I think the colour would look better on someone with a warmer skin tone than yours.

Ginkypig · 15/07/2018 13:28

All of those are awful! You have a nice figure that if dressed right could look really lovely but "they" whoever they are are trying to make you look like a Victorian matron!

A nice wrap dress with a v neck would show off both your waist and your bust if it's knee length you also get to show off your nice legs too.

Dodie66 · 15/07/2018 13:28

Tha last one looks a better fit but not the pattern or sleeves. Short sleeves would be better with a lower nexkline

EachandEveryone · 15/07/2018 13:28

Whistles I usually like it it’s a long time since I bought for a wedding

I don't think either flatters you. Try a halter neck neckline. As a busty lady myself I know these flatter me. Don't be afraid to stomp your feet and say no if they insist

ohtheholidays · 15/07/2018 13:29

The first one is like a potatoe sack, the second one(the cut is more flattering and suits your figure)the frill at the bottom and the colour make you look like Little Bo Peep and the third one looks like something a lady in her 90's might wear.

EachandEveryone · 15/07/2018 13:30

The sandals are the fitflops recommended on the Hush thread. Whilst I’m here Mac or Urban decay for a good tinted moisturiser. Think airport shops as I’m at st Pancras

aaarrrggghhhh · 15/07/2018 13:30

Agree (i) they are all awful (ii) you have great legs and you should get em out there!

(on the boob front - have you had a fitting with Bravissimo? Life changing)

TheTroutofNoCraic · 15/07/2018 13:31

Get thee to Pepperberry!

MrsBertBibby · 15/07/2018 13:31

There's a Whistles in St Pancras opposite Paperchase.

ApolloandDaphne · 15/07/2018 13:32

Oh dear they are 3 awful dresses.

queenrollo · 15/07/2018 13:32

I'd head over to St Pancras if I were you. There is a better selection of shops over there including a Whistles which might have stuff that suits you better.

chipsandgin · 15/07/2018 13:32

Bravissimo (online only I think) do fab dresses for bigger boobed women, so the rest of the dress fits - worth a look. I find high st stores just don’t make ones that fit.

Seashell80 · 15/07/2018 13:33

I bought this one recently, exactly the same shape as you and it looks ace-can dress up or down! I know it’s actually on sale now so even better! Good luck.

NorthernSpirit · 15/07/2018 13:33

Neither of these dresses flatter your shape or skin tone.

Go to Phase 8, Karen Millen or Reiss. The tailoring is beautiful and it will be worth the investment. You will also get a more honest view of what suits you.

SnuggyBuggy · 15/07/2018 13:34

I think you need a more bold colour

HollowTalk · 15/07/2018 13:34

What do you think about this bravissimo dress?

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 15/07/2018 13:34

I agree a wrap dress could look great. Good luck! When is the wedding? If it's imminent you need something that will be comfortable for hot weather. If in September, you might want to be prepared for cooler weather.
