A casual pub wedding. And other stories. I’m a 38g above. Its not a wedding dress is it? Isn’t it a funny colour?

That looks lovely!!

Lovely dress. I just want to point out, though, that there's something visible at the top of the pic which it might not be wise to have on the internet, so you might want to ask MN to remove the picture.

No fashion advice unfortunately but just wanted to say I love the last dresses OP, you have a lovely figure too! Those dresses that nip in at your waist and look great!

CrazyOldBagLady · 20/07/2018 12:19

That first dress?! What were they thinking?! Maybe the staff had a competition going to see who could manage to sell one. It looks like something Baldrick would wear in Blackadder II.

Anyway the dress styles are getting better as the posts go on and I actually think the spotty one would be great for a casual pub wedding. It would be easy to dress up to make it a bit fancier. If it looks as nice in real life I would hand over my £12 and go with that! You then have a classic looking dress to wear again next summer.

No. 4 looked best on you and is fine for a wedding IMO.

FrolickingForklift · 20/07/2018 12:21

That latest is lovely and suits you. I'd also go for bold red accessories:)

That was the shop that started all this off! I tried shoes on whilst I was in there I couldn’t get my foot into them without wincing.

Love the spotty dress - well done! I have a similar shape and have bought this if you're still looking (also for a casual pub wedding in September Hmm)? Someone recommended it on here. I also have wide feet do will look for shoes for you...

I love that last dress, you look fabulous!
I have your sort of figure and it's a bugger when things are made without any room for boobs and hips. I used to get really tearful when looking for clothes.

I gave up following fashion about 10 years ago, I wear my own idiosyncratic style and it has been immensely liberating. My grandchildren were very proud of their funky grandmother!

I hope you are back in full health very soon, please be kind to yourself.
My daughter's hysterectomy was life-changing for the better and I hope yours is too.

EachandEveryone · 20/07/2018 21:15

PassiveAgressiveQueen · 20/07/2018 21:45
