So tempted but just would like it to be subtle, not huge!

Has anyone had them or got any close up before and after pics?!
Good/bad experiences?

I would like to know about this!

Does it hurt??

0.5 per lip or 1ml per lip??

xJune88 · 08/07/2018 15:45

Following this is something I've thought about for years but never had the balls to do, don't want to end up looking fake and scared of pain haha

Hillbillyhotel · 08/07/2018 15:50

This was before and after 0.5ml. It lasted a good eight months and I have now topped up with 1ml. Have the numbing cream and it just makes your eyes water. I love mine,I don’t think they look false but they allow me to have a top lip when I smile!

It looks fab hillbilly.

Did you just have top lip or both??

I am going to get mine done now.

xJune88 · 08/07/2018 15:55

@Hillbillyhotel they look really nice! Subtle but good that's what I'm aiming for when I smile I have no lips at all!!

Coconutty89 · 08/07/2018 15:55

I'm going for jawline and cheeks soon & if I've any filler left it's going in my lips!

@Baumederose it's 0.5 across both or 1ml across both x

Baumederose · 08/07/2018 15:57

Thank you @ coconutty I had not appreciated that!

I'll go with the 0.5 it looks so natural.

I'm so pleased blossom asked!! X

Hillbillyhotel · 08/07/2018 16:12

baumerdose it was both but just a touch in the bottom because your bottom lip should be bigger than your top apparently, not that I wanted a celebrity trout pout or anything

Blossom4538 · 08/07/2018 19:42

Fab! Anymore pics ladies?! 👄

Thank you @hillbillyhotel

Yours look great so I am going to ask for one of those Grin

NorthernJugni · 08/07/2018 20:47

I've had them and they are great! I had no upper lip and a downturned mouth (thankyou mother's side of the family). Anywhere decent will start you off slowly with 0.5ml and do the vermillion border round your lips and a teeny bit in your bottom lip. You can build to what you like- just beware of duck-beak- what looks good from the front can look dodgy from the side. A good injector will know that. It stings rather than hurts but you put on numbing cream beforehand and the stuff usually also has lidocaine in it. I will not tell you that you feel nothing but its more making your eyes water than real pain. Do it if you want to, it's great!

Mine I've had them done for years by a nurse in Bolton (but too far for you!)

Ridingthegravytrain · 08/07/2018 20:55

My surgeon does something called Cinderella lips. It’s to try it out to see if you like it, or if you just want full lips for a night out. They inject saline instead of filler and it is absorbed by the body in about 24 hrs

Could be worth trying if you are nervous

applesauce1 · 08/07/2018 22:01

I've had mine done 5 times over the past 5 years. Last time I had it done, my usual nurse wasn't available and the lady who did it totally messed my lips up. No one previously knew I'd had anything done. Suddenly, everyone was asking me about it. Probably won't have it done again as I'm pregnant and won't have the spare cash for it in the near future but when for the 4/5 times when it was successful, I absolutely loved it.
I don't find that it hurts too much. Hurts less than having blood taken. Needle is so thin and they numb you up first.

emsyj37 · 08/07/2018 22:28

Anyone in the north west able to give a rough price for lip fillers locally??

Blossom4538 · 08/07/2018 23:10

Lovely!! V v tempted. In South, Dorset Hampshire if any recommendations of where to go?

How much does the procedure cost roughly?

OP posts:
LiquidCosh · 09/07/2018 06:23

I think the last time I went it was £120 for 0.5 or £200 for 1ml but in NI here so prices may be cheaper.

NorthernJugni · 09/07/2018 07:10

North West you can usually find a 20% off deal at Harley Medical who are great for first timers. I also recommend Dentists of Didsbury, BodyToxing and VGMediaSpa. I've done all of these with a Groupon/Wowcher and can verify that they are totally non-dodge and professional.

I want it too!

IllHaveALargeGlassOfRed · 09/07/2018 08:34

I got mine done about 3 months ago and want them topped up again! 0.5ml in each lip and a bit under each corner to lift. What a difference! I just looked less pissed off!

I'll see if I can find before and after pics.

Coconutty89 · 09/07/2018 10:20

not sure if anyone's close to Burnley but Kita Aesthetics are fantastic and start at £59 for 0.5ml.

I've got a 4ml jaw and cheeks package for £250. I'm travelling there it's about an hour!

IllHaveALargeGlassOfRed · 09/07/2018 10:59

That seems quite cheap? I was £250 for 1ml and I'm in NE Scotland.
