Sooo, who’s tried lip fillers?!

So tempted but just would like it to be subtle, not huge!

Has anyone had them or got any close up before and after pics?!
Good/bad experiences?

Had mine done years ago by a reputable cosmetic surgeon and they hurt like hell and were very uneven and not nice. Hence I wouldn't recommend. Looking back it was beyond silly as I am fine without them.

Farontothemaddingcrowd · 13/07/2018 15:46

Mine do not look obvious at all

Mercurial123 · 13/07/2018 15:50

But you can tell you have enhanced them from your photos.

Farontothemaddingcrowd · 13/07/2018 15:50

Top lip still smaller than bottom lip. The key is not to overdo it. I teach teens. They would tell me if they noticed; they are not polite!

Farontothemaddingcrowd · 13/07/2018 15:50

Because it's a close up and I have told you.

Farontothemaddingcrowd · 13/07/2018 15:53

It's personal choice isn't it. I agree some people go overboard, but I think it can be done subtly.

Mercurial123 · 13/07/2018 15:55

We will have to agree to disagree.

RantyMare · 13/07/2018 15:56

Me. it looked fab. Nobody could tell I'd had it done I just got a lot of 'You look great today's. And puzzled reactions 'You look nice have you changed your makeup or something's. I wouldn't do it again because it just didn't last on me, and this is apparently unusual. It went down after a couple of months. All depends on the individual. Try find a training academy if you want a good price tag and can handle students having a go.

Farontothemaddingcrowd · 13/07/2018 15:58

The two pics were taken years apart as well, so I didn't immediately go straight from the before pic to after. It would be pointless having it if there literally was no difference, but I did it gradually.

daisyboooo · 13/07/2018 15:58

Top pic is after 1ml filler ..., bottom is before pic. Love mine, very natural looking : )

I agree the disembodied pics make it seem more obvious. Also cos you’re taking a pic of your lips so they are centre etc of the pic. And also because on this thread it’s the topic of conversation and you’ve alteady been told fillers have been used.

In e.g. this pic taken two weeks after I had mine I don’t think they look false. Also in all the pics I have different lipstick, lighting, poses etc so it’s difficult to say. I tried to get good before pics - just found this one (the not smiling pic)

Warsaw0912 · 13/07/2018 16:14

Whoops forgot to attach! I think you can see in the before pic my lips were never super thin anyway.

Not in defense of lip fillers but wanting to give a fair view!!

Faron and Daisy yours are gorgeous! Yes they look different but isn’t that the point?! They look great and not at all ‘fake’ in my opinion

Farontothemaddingcrowd · 13/07/2018 16:54

Yes yours were already full Warsaw. They look lovely in both.
Funny I've also had my teeth done - whitened, straightened etc and that's far more dramatic and permanent than lip fillers, so I don't really see fillers as a big deal!

insertimaginativeusername · 13/07/2018 17:32

Warsaw & faron- you've both had lovely results 👍🏻 I've got quite full lips but seem to have lost some of their fullness over time, you may have just convinced me to have a proper look into fillers!

Coconutty89 · 14/07/2018 11:38

@gatekeeper I'm booked for July 28th will post photos of before & after!

Gatekeeper · 14/07/2018 14:03

look forward to seeing them Coconutty- my jaw line and chin are practically non existant so watching with interest!

UmbrellaPlants · 14/07/2018 14:24

I’ve booked for 26th July, excited!

daisyboooo · 14/07/2018 14:55

Taking collagen & hyaluronic capsules together plumps up lips too .... whether you have had fillers or not. I've been taking them for ages & I do see a difference when I've ran out or forgotten to take them .... see link for info ....

@Coconutty89

how did it go?

octopusrus · 02/08/2018 12:43

.

Pooshy · 02/08/2018 15:42

I would love to get this but would HATE for anyone to know

userxx · 02/08/2018 20:27

@Pooshy Why? What the hell has it got to do with anyone else.

holycityzoo · 02/08/2018 20:36

The thing is though you have lip fillers because you want your lips to look fuller, well then they will look different otherwise what's the point?
All of the pics look different but natural in my opinion. Of course you can see a difference but if you met any of the women who have posted pictures on here for the first time you wouldn't know that they had had them done. Which is what I think most people want.
