Can I ask that here?
If you have any grey hair that is!

In my teens. I am 33 now and really starting to see loads in my black hair. It's shit.

  1. Have salt and pepper hair now at 27, rapidly turning more silver now though. My dad was completely grey by 35 and I'm not far behind him.

I actually quite like it (though I probably won't in ten years)

LapsedHumanist · 29/06/2018 15:38

Early 30s

  1. I found 3 all at once.

I've basically inherited a mallen streak (mum and her mum both have/had one). the streak is now 80%-ish grey and I'm salt and pepper through the rest.

I'm 41.

I dye it so you'd never know. Costs me £170 every 6 weeks. I've started colour spraying the roots in between times too.

  1. 36 now and my hair is pure white.
jobbymcginty · 29/06/2018 18:47

41 very lucky genes I think I only have a few at almost 44

Skyejuly · 29/06/2018 20:08

About 27? Now 31 and have about 5% grey but it's growing in fast. I am trying not to dye it but it's sooo hard.

Roomba · 29/06/2018 20:12
  1. Just a couple though, they've not started spreading just yet...
tomhazard · 29/06/2018 20:14

30, a few months after DC2 arrived. I am 32 now and have a number of grey hairs, just starting to think about getting colour

Roomba · 29/06/2018 20:15

I reckon it must be genetic. My mother had very few grey hairs until she was in her mid 50s. And my grandmother swore she had black hair well into her 70s, but I strongly suspect that was a fib given she went to the hairdressers every fortnight and returned smelling of hair dye Grin

rightknockered · 29/06/2018 20:17

I was 29, mostly ignored until I got to 40 and they became noticeable. Still didn't take much notice until just recently, now I do a fortnightly root dye.

  1. My aunts hair went white when she was 21
flissypix · 29/06/2018 20:43

I found 2 in the front of my hair when I was 25 just after having my dd2. Pulled them out and not had any since now 33. I do occasionally find super dark red (pillar box red) wirey ones which is weird but preferable.

CountFosco · 29/06/2018 22:17

Mid 30s I think. I'm late 40s and my hairdresser suggested highlights about two years ago so they must be getting noticeable. I'm gappy to go grey naturally though, Mum had really even salt and pepper so I think I'll be fine.

heartyrebel · 01/07/2018 10:25

I realised I had quite a few in my late teens. Now I'm at least 50 % at 43.
Saw a super long grey hair in my 9yr old recently so I guess she's inherited our premature greying gene. I pulled it out and didn't tell her

Annabelle4 · 01/07/2018 16:53

30, but white, not grey Hmm

I still have only the very odd one at 35

Glowerglass · 01/07/2018 18:39

23

notacooldad · 01/07/2018 18:41

53 and none yet.
I thought I would have had them for about 5 years now.
