Can I ask that here?
If you have any grey hair that is!

I'm the latest! Happy birthday party

Sorry my first post was a bit short, im 40 and am noticing one or two now.

My daughter is only 7 and appears to have a few strands of grey? That can’t be possible is it?

Sorry weird post. The child responsible for my grey hairs just gave me a great big sweaty bear hug.

Lweji · 27/06/2018 19:54

I had one from an early age.

Now at 46 I have a small number of strands.

TookyClothespin · 27/06/2018 19:54

19 for me. I'm 31 now and given up dyeing it, far too much maintenance.
My cousin was about 13 when she got her first. Going grey early runs in my family!

AsAProfessionalFekko · 27/06/2018 19:55

Oh and here's a thing - I started growing a few black hairs in my 20s in my fringe. I pull 'em out - and they grow back black. Considering my hair is red it's very odd indeed.

IlPorcupinoNilSodomyEst · 27/06/2018 19:55

I'm 49.5 have none! Weird, as my parents were grey in their 30s.

I'm 54 & haven't spotted any yet unless they are hiding under my highlights. My DM is in her 80s & only has a sprinkling of grey so I take after her. My DF was grey by 35.

Not one yet at 50 - very lucky but my dad wasn't grey until gone 70!

Knittedfairies · 27/06/2018 20:04

Mid 50s - I haven’t got ‘grey’ hairs now either; I’ve got sparkly bits.

  1. 30 years on I am now considering embracing the grey, though it’s more white really.
bellinisurge · 27/06/2018 20:07

Also saw one on my dd when she was 9. I noticed at the same time what looked like a vitiligo patch on her arm. I assumed a link. However, not seen either again. She is 11.

Magmatic80 · 27/06/2018 20:09
  1. Saw them for first time in the mirror in a H&M changing room
YolandiFuckinVisser · 27/06/2018 20:10

Noticed a few at 27 after my first child. I have dyed it fairly consitently until I hit 40 then just left it. I'm 44 now and pretty much grey all over. It has white streaks through a grey background. I like it but have a "young" hairstyle to counteract the old lady colouring!

  1. Now 39 and there are loads of the buggers.
MissTulipan · 27/06/2018 20:10

About 30, the odd one here and there.

Stephisaur · 27/06/2018 20:11
  1. I blame the stress of buying a house!
Penfold007 · 27/06/2018 20:12

16, I was truly 'white' by 30 never mind grey. DS found his at same age and is very early 20s and salt and pepper grey. In our family it's genetic.
Annoys my DM but I have bum length ice white hair.
