hello all..bouncing into the new thread.

Never I think you should wear your holiday stuff as much as possible and enjoy it. I used to keep stuff for best then realised I should wearing it.

Mind you, this is coming from the chump who snagged her brand new £65 top not he way out the other day!

Dave I share your frustration - I got bleach on my favourite star print jumper. Wasn't a Hush one but was from M & S last summer, grey with a big white star onthe front. I loved it but noticed the other day I had bleach all up the arm.
It's so annoying when these things happen and it always seems to be to favourite items of clothing!

I try not to keep stuff for best. Just wondered whether you wear things you have bought for your summer holiday? Like your vests and shorts and tees and dresses?

Wear them. Life is too short, wear your party knickers every day. One benefit of not having many clothes yet (which I am clearly on a mission to address!) is that I’m wearing something nice which I love every day. There is something very psychologically satisfying about that.

Some days I just don't feel like making an effort and enjoy being scruffy. Am I the only one?

Sometimes its like comfort food. I just want to stick on my hush old baggy [ it is now!] green faded heart sweat and jeans and falling apart trainers!

I agree cherries..knowing you are going to wear something you really love/a new purchase is such a buzz!

I went through a stage of just slobbing about in the same scrappy old clothes for ages..it was a symptom of my depression.

Now I have found my love of clothes again and really enjoy wearing my lovely stuff, even if it's just on the school run!

Talking of the school run, there are two other mums I know there who are big Hush fans! One of them has just got a new job after being out of the workplace for a good few years (has 4 kids) and she went beer and bought tons of Hush stuff recently and has been wearing it to school. It all looks great! We're like walking ads for bloody Hush!

Oh ella how gutting. There's nothing you can do for bleach either is there?

I've ordered some thread in a green that looks similar to the top, as OH has said he'll have a go at trying to do something with it for me.

Oh goodness I love slobbing about too never..in fact when I am working from home I often stay in my PJ's most of the day!

I got my sale items today !
Star jeans - I took a gamble and didn’t think the 16s would and I was right. Shame as I love the look of them.
Love sweater - ordered the L and XL. The XL was too big and because there is no stretch at all the L just didn’t feel comfy so they are going back too.
Cotton PJs - love them (stars and tigers) so I’ll be keeping them.
Stripped long sleeve top in green - I have the turquoise one and wear it loads so I know I’ll get lots of wear out it - keeper

Oh yes, I’m not done up every day by any means. But at the moment, even my harems and a tee shirt feel fresh and new, even if laid back.

Its good to know im not the only one slobbing it some days I guess I work the three days and on the Thursday just feel like I want to chill as I have had to make an effort at work. Thursday is probably my slob day ha ha....

I definitely have days I don't make much effort - my kids love nothing more than putting their PJ's back on as soon as they get through the front door which I'm afraid is something they've picked up from me!
I was away this weekend, it was a total chill weekend and apart from the first night when we went out to eat I made hardly any effort at all!
It was lovely weather and I slobbed around in my Boden Chino Shorts and my harems with vest tops and flip flops, let my hair dry naturally in the sun and didn't wear any make up at all. It was strangely liberating!

I don't tend to go out without my liner and mascara so not that bad!!! I actually find it hard to put my washing out without these things on!!!!

Ella sounds great. My kids always run for the PJ's after school. My ds [10] wears them around the house then takes them off to go to bed. He hates any heat so sleeps in his boxers!!!

Sometimes its also strange because the things I started out not really loving are the things I just absolutely love. The star jeans for example. It was not love at first sight. They have grown on me. The linen long sleeved top in French blue - Oh I absolutely have loved and loved that to death. Things like the love sweat I have literally hardly worn and thought I would wear that so much. The green heart sweat I liked less but have loved that more and more!!!!

I know what you mean never. I thought I would wear my rainbow jumper loads - don't get me wrong I love it but it's the heart embroidered sweater I wear the most. I always wanted harems and thought I'd live in them when I got them but haven't really. The star jeans are probably my most worn item though to be honest. I've definitely got my money's worth from them since I bought them back in feb/March.

Hi everyone, I’m waiting on a few bits I ordered in the sale.
Star jeans the rose/bead crepe top & a jumper, really hoping the jeans will fit.
@DavetheCat2001 how do you find the sizing on the Marissa dress?
I really like it & is so pretty, but don’t really need a new dress but thinking it would be a nice summer/holiday dress, so maybe I could justify it to myself😄
