Happy June, folks!

Some of you may already receive our weekly Swears By newsletter, which is a round-up of products that Mumsnetters have been recommending to each other, but we thought we'd also collate them here.

You can take a look at last month's Swears By thread here.

If you want to be first to know about the next cult product, you can sign up to the newsletter here and you can also check out the Swears By page here.

Mumsnet Swears By is free and independent from advertising but if you buy something through our posts, we may get a small share of the sale. You can find out more here.

But anyway - here’s what MNers have been swearing by this month:

FREZYDERM SPF 50 Velvet Face Sunscreen, £15.56 (was £20)

A multi-tasking product that functions as a primer, moisturiser and weightless sunscreen – no wonder the Style & Beauty boards are in a “Frezyderm frenzy”

“So I finally cracked open my Frezyderm spf30 today and I love it. Such a lovely consistency which sinks in beautifully. I wore it without moisturiser underneath or any make-up over the top. My skin isn't oily or greasy and is, happily, looking like normal skin should.” TantricTwist

“I have been recommending the tinted Frezyderm to everyone I know for a year.” MaplessGlobe

“You are in for a real treat! Frezyderm is like no other! It's so unique I still can't get my head around it and am gutted I didn't know about it sooner.” mintmagnum

Scholl Fresh Step Shoe Spray, £3.20

Keep your feet fresh throughout the summer months with this handy spray

“It's like deodorant for shoes but 1000 times better than the Odour Eaters ones. My Skechers make my feet stink; I spray the Skechers and my feet like you would with your morning deodorant and it prevents the smell.” CrazyHippo

M&S Ruched Sleeveless Maxi Dress, £19.50

An elegant, affordable summer staple – what's not to like?

“I was surprised how chic it looked. Really silky fabric that hung well. Looked a lot more expensive that it was. With tan sandals and a cropped sleeved white blouse or jacket, I think it would look great for casual days in summer.” MinaPaws

Also available in curve and petite styles

It's not cheap, but this Dyson hoover is lightweight with incredible dust-busting capabilities

“I took possession of my new Dyson V10 yesterday… I thought the V6 was good but this baby will be sleeping next to me in bed to keep her safe. She's that bloody good, I'm horrified at what came out of the seven-month-old carpet!” SluttyButty

Maybelline Blushed Nudes Eyeshadow Palette, now £7.20 (RRP £11.99)

Add a little bit of sparkle to your make-up routine

“At the popping-to-the-shops treat end of the scale, I'm about to buy my second Blushed Nudes palette as I've found all the colours really useable, some so much that I've finished them. Some are matte, some have shimmer, last well, minimal creasing - even on my sometimes knackered looking eyes.” pippistrelle

Whistles Rosa Double Trim Top, £35

Always the same conundrum: where can you find a good quality plain T-shirt that will actually last?

“Had to come back to the thread as I've found my holy grail T-shirt: the Rosa Double Trim at Whistles! They're a wee bit expensive (£35) but absolutely worth it. 100% cotton, lovely cut” AnotherRoadsideAttraction

“Another vote for Whistles Rosa T-shirt. It's 100% cotton, comes in a good range of colours, washes perfectly, doesn't twist and doesn't cling (important for me...hate clingy T-shirts!)” tonsattingforbjudes

Next Denim Jacket, £32

A denim jacket is the perfect top layer from spring right through to October, and Next's classic no-frills option won't break the bank

“I got mine from Next about 2 months ago. Nice, partly fitted lighter denim.” Ellapaella

“I have the Next one too! I don't think I've taken it off since I bought it. I found it hard to find an unembellished or ripped jacket in a mid denim. It's got just enough stretch in the denim to make it really comfortable” Firstaidnovice

“Another fan of the Next one here. Mine’s a darker mid blue shade, has a little stretch to it and is comfy and flattering.” BlueEyedWonder

There's a dark blue, a mid-blue and then white to choose between.

La Roche-Posay Anthelios Comfort Sun Lotion SPF30, buy now £10.50 (was £14)

Sometimes it's worth splashing the cash to stay safe in the sun

“La Roche Posay is absolutely brilliant sun cream. It’s expensive but lasts the whole family and does not cause a rash. It's the best on the market, in my opinion (but I have highly allergic, sensitive and pale, easily burnt skin). It goes a long way.” 3luckystars

Forest Holidays Escapes

Fancy a different kind of getaway this summer?

"We went with our four- and one-year-old. We all loved it, it was very relaxing. The kids loved the hot tub and we had a bbq on the decking a few nights. It's one of our favourite holidays." lonelyorchid

"We love them: in fact we've just got back from a Forest Holiday. You definitely do need to self cater or plan to leave the site in search of the odd dinner if you fancy eating out. We get a supermarket shop delivered, which saves travelling with a car full of food!" Jinglesplodge

"Been twice – both kids were teenagers but we really enjoyed it." louiseaaa

H&M Linen Joggers, £24.99

Be casual, cool and collected all in one go this summer

"I have them in khaki. They are quite tight around the waist but are flattering on. I had them taken up as I like mine ankle grazing. They do bag and sag but that is part of the charm of linen!" ottolinemorel

"I bought some white/blue striped ones last year and the khaki ones this year. I think they're great for holiday wear. I find them quite high waisted (unlike my Hush harems), and a good length for my short legs." BlairWaldorfLovesShopping
