I have had a much longer for colour change to my hair. The stylist (she was awesome) achieved this with my thin, straggly hair.

Olaplex is amazing stuff. Now how can I achieve this blow dry at home?

ooooh pretty Grin

I can't help with the blow dry (mine's short) but get yourself some purple shampoo and conditioner to keep the colour from going brassy

OhNoes · 01/06/2018 19:53

Love it! I'm thinking of getting mine done this colour, but it's a lot darker than yours was (mine is dyed as I have a lot of grey), so it might be a bit too drastic to do in one go!

Wingbing · 01/06/2018 20:18

Thanks for the tip, I will order some silver shampoo shortly. I was it every day so i’ll need it.

I may get some tongs so I can achieve similar.

Ooh where abouts in the UK are you? Im after a good colourist...

Justyou · 01/06/2018 20:34

Love it, another asking where in UK?

Sagegreen · 01/06/2018 20:34

Best silver (purple) shampoo and conditioner in my experience is pro-voke touch of silver. You can get it at the supermarket but I order lots at once from Superdrug online and store it as they often do 3 for 2 on it. Lovely hair OP.

Wingbing · 01/06/2018 20:38

Thanks sage i’ll try there.

I’m in Exeter. Her work is pretty cool and she has a solid reputation. She was recommended to me.

Amazing results are you going to use Olaplex 3 at home?

Wingbing · 01/06/2018 21:10

Yes I intend to order some from Amazon. Any tips are appreciated.

Mercurial123 · 01/06/2018 21:38

Be careful of fake products I was going to buy from Amazon as it's much cheaper but some reviewers said it was fake. I got mine from Look Fantastic.

MeDented · 01/06/2018 21:40

Try a Babyliss Big Hair to get the blow dry effect at home

Timeissliplingaway · 01/06/2018 21:48

What's olaplex? I've never heard of that?

Tuttytoffee · 01/06/2018 23:21

I find silver shampoo very harsh and Makes my hair dry so I only use that every so often. Olaplex is a hair treatment for dry or damaged hair. It works wonders. You can get it cheaper on eBay too.

ImNotReallyAWaitress · 02/06/2018 00:08

The Olaplex no 3 is a protein treatment that helps to restore the bonds in the hair. You’ll need to use a moisture treatment also to keep the hair in good condition.

Sitranced · 02/06/2018 06:17

That is 2 different people.

BettyPitts · 02/06/2018 06:21

Haha Sit

cornishmumtobe · 02/06/2018 06:30

Cloud 9 the o rollers help me achieve a blow dry type look. It's pricey but really quick and easy to use and gets great results.

athingthateveryoneneeds · 02/06/2018 06:46

Your hair looks longer in the after picture?

RiddleyW · 02/06/2018 06:59

That’s amazing!

Wingbing · 02/06/2018 07:14

Promise they are both me!

OP posts:
Wingbing · 02/06/2018 07:14

I think the angle of the photo makes it look longer. I had an inch cut off too

Hair looks lovely but be careful. It looked very damaged on the ends before hand so is probably much worse now. Definitely buy yhe olaplex 3. I would invest in some kerastace ciment products and the fudge purple shampoo is supposed to be amazing.

Babyliss big hair will help with the blowdry. I would also get a wide barrelled wand. Mark hill do good ones. I would invest im a good serum too maybe moroccan oil or wella.

I had my hair lifted from light blonde to very blonde to have it dyed pastel pink with olaplex and it was still nackered afterwards. I didnt rate the olaplex tbh.

Mercurial123 · 02/06/2018 07:29

I really like Camillia oil it's natural and great for dry hair.

Scabetty · 02/06/2018 08:09

I agree with Sit. Second picture has black sleeve Confused

Childrenofthesun · 02/06/2018 08:14

The black sleeve is clearly the gown they put you in at the salon. OP's hair is definitely shorter as you can see if you look at how far down the back of the chair it falls in each picture.

Your hair looks great. I'm not brave enough to go for that colour but I am very jealous of the blow dry.
