Which of these shoes should I keep?

I saw the red & white ones first & liked the colours (it's an off-white) but I don't like the overt branding, also I worry they have too much of a 90s Brit-Pop vibe.
When I went to try them on again I saw the white minimalist Stan Smiths. I like these because the branding is very subtle and they don't have a big tongue (which I think can be unflattering). But are they a bit cliched?
I'd wear them with various shapes of jean & also full-length wide-leg canvas trousers.
For background, I'm a tall-ish, size 12/14 hourglass. I tend to shop at Uniqlo, Toast, Seasalt plus vintage & clothes I make myself. So a mix.
Oh, and there's a 30 quid price difference between these two!

I don't like white trainers. They look a bit cheap and plasticky

The red.

I would keep looking but the bottom ones if you must. Plain white trainers have been appropriated by cool brands (although nice trainers or brouge trainers are better) so permissable. But the stripy ones are just a bit too Essex.

White ones look like a poor fit round the ankle to me.

@AnyFucker No, those aren't me at all. Too like running shoes. Nice colour though.

@Racecardriver Too Essex, exactly. Examples of nude trainers? Although that colour wouldn't go with my clothes, if it's what I imagine.

All White Stan smiths are really nice and really classic

Stan Smiths are no more of a middle-aged cliché than any of the perennial Adidas trainers, so don't let that put you off them. I prefer them off the two.

Check toast website. Cos also did some really nice ones in nice leather.

Have just googled nude trainers. No - too near to pink. I really don't do pink shoes. I'm not very girly.

I have seen more nude toned ones over winter but I think they may be a bit over because I can't seem to find them.

Get the Stan Smiths, they go with everything. I have them in white with a pale grey suede trim at the back, and with the classic green trim. I love them. Even more comfortable though are my Adidas Campus in grey suede, although they don't go with as much. I also have the Gazelles in white, but they are a slightly more sporty look.

To give an idea: if I were wearing my wide leg trousers, it'd be with a belt at the waist and a crisp shirt with the sleeves rolled up a bit. Little scarf at the neck. Strong eyebrows and vintage sunglasses.

The red, I love them.
I don't like NB trainers either, as you say they look like running shoes and I like fashion trainers.

i like the style of the red striped ones, the all white ones are very high on the ankle and front, and have a very elderly support shoe air about them imo.

Any other colour options for the "striped" shoe?

I like both. Also white trainers are very trendy right now...in Essex or elsewhere.

Get some suede trainers they're much nicer. In a mauve or oatmeal or light pink?
