Argh. When I sent for the two smaller dresses to double check sizing, I also ordered another pair of monacos, I love the chilli pair so much. Fortunately I tried them on, I nearly didn't because I assumed they'd be fine. But they arent! One leg is about 2 inches narrower than the other, meaning it doesn't pull down properly, and bunches just below my knee. I know I have a short and slightly wasted leg, but it does NOT require that degree of accommodation. Oh well, that was a cheap round, as it's all going back this afternoon.
I was looking at the Bloomsbury - I'm assuming that it really is too short for a dress though? Do you need to wear it with jeans? I tend to feel a little allergic to anything that smacks of 'over shirt', having been forced to wear stuff like that for so long. I also love the lace back dress but wouldn't work with the scaffolding required. You can tell I've got loads of ebay auctions on plus size clothes ending tomorrow, and they are doing well already. Spending ebay money doesn't feel too extravagant because after all, the original items were paid for long ago, so me spending it all on myself doesn't feel like I'm taking money away from anyone else. Not that anyone else cares, that's just me struggling with the idea of being 'worth' nice things.
