weird things are a-foot with my dealings with Hush this afternoon..

So..despite me sending an email on Saturday saying I had decided to keep the damaged Portobello dress, and I thought I should have got some ££ off but was leaving that to their discretion, I have just had an email saying a size 8 has been dispatched and is on it's way.

Also - I ordered a Camo jacket on Saturday also, and that iron it's way too, although looking at my bank account, I haven't been charged for it (yet)..would they send something out before taking the money..??

I'm going to have to send the new 8 back which is annoying, particularly if it is in perfect condition.

Have they charged you for a new 8? I very much doubt it. Keep them both unless they say you have to return it. Are they expecting you to return it?
It may be that the camo jacket hasn't come off yet. Sometimes they are slow in processing it or maybe it your bank itsnt showing it up. That happens to me.

Hell - return the fixed one if you have to. They probably wont notice and its probably going to go into the bin anyway.

Oh bugger Dave! Are you happy with the one you wore? Did it mend easily enough? They seem determined not to give you a price reduction on the one you kept, but I’d still ask them.
Love everything you have on fudge. I had the flowery trousers delivered at the weekend but they were a funny fit on me.
I went to my local JL today and breaking news.............
The sales assistant said she’s heard they’re getting Hush! Christ 😂
I can get to JL in 7 minutes from my house, I’ll be bankrupt 😂

@DavetheCat2001 just return the repaired one.. not much they can say considering it was sent out faulty to you I the first place, seems to me won't care! And you have all your photos of the damage before you fixed it so plenty of evidence to back you up if they make a thing of it.

They don't seem to have charged me for the new 8.

The CS girl said they would send me out a new 8 as soon as one came in on a quick service, but I then emailed them on Saturday to say I had decided to just keep the damaged 8..so either she didn't read my email or it was somehow overlooked.

She did say to me on email last week though that once the labels were cut off and any alterations made, the dress was then non-refundable.

Maybe I'll just wait and see what happens.

never you mentioned you hadn't had a response to your email, I would highly recommend ringing them. Seems stuff happens quicker this way!

Am annoyed. Weve obviously got a new postie..rather than leaving my Hush parcel in my safeplace , hes left a card..That would be ok except what they do here s then take them back to the depot main town ( where i work nearby) but you cant collect from there.. They then redeliver them to the local collection office tomorrow (but after 10am)
The local collection office is now in a village a few miles away (since they shut ours) and they only stay open until 1pm.. So it will be Wednesday at the earliest I can collect the Marissa now.. Sad

They never leave anything in a safe place and not even to my neighbours. I am friendly with my postie and she says that they have strict rules about deliveries. If I am not in, its always gone to my local delivery office. Awkward here too as it closes at 12 so if you are working you have no chance of collection unless you are off.

laska I did keep my leopard dress but didn't put it on today for fear of a repeat of the black paint situation. As it happened, my whole day changed as I was assessing primary 1's all day so nowhere near paint!

Well I gues we have our answer re lack of any negative reviews. They didn’t publish mine which basically said it was too crumpled to try on, and I’ve just received this:

Did you post your review today? That a quick response. That really is ridiculous. Unless you swear or make a comment about another retailer, it should be published.

Wow, that is not good about the review. They annoy me enough with their free gifts to gushing bloggers, but refusing to publish a fair (zip negative review) means you really can't trust the reviews at all. It must be a new policy, I've certainly had less than positive reviews posted in the past.

Ginger that's really poor.

The JL reviews only seem to be the same ones as appear on the Hush site, so imagine those are all moderated too.

I'd be asking them how it violated their editorial guidelines and/or what they actually are so you can avoiding repeating your 'mistake'.

I know, it really poor isn’t it. My review of the garment is relevant. The product I ordered wasn’t fit to wear. I didn’t rant or anything, just said it was so crumpled, I couldn’t tell and that I was disappointed for £85 that I’d have to risk ironing it which might have invalidated a return.
That’s all I’ve had from them. No ‘so sorry it arrived in a poor condition’
They can see how much I spend with them. I might tot it up and send them a massive bollocking now 😡
