Anyone??

I had my first lot about 2 weeks ago! Well, azzalure but same difference
It was fine, and I love it

TossDaily · 23/02/2018 10:42

Has it made a big difference?

Where did you have it done? (Areas of face, not country!)

Horizontal forehead lines and in between eyebrows so two areas

TossDaily · 23/02/2018 10:45

That does look good! I'm going for the same two areas plus crows' feet - but if your age is what your user name suggests I've got ten years on you...

You have brilliant eyebrows too!

Yeah I'm 34 in a few months. Eyebrows are micropigmentation so tattooed on

Hammy12345 · 23/02/2018 10:50

I had my first Botox treatment at start of this week. Had it on my forehead. I was initially only going to have a chat about it, but the Dr was lovely and made me feel it wasn't a big thing to have it done. It wasn't very painful, over very quickly. It bled a tiny amount but stopped quickly. I didn't bruise. It felt odd for the evening but now, 3 days on, it has settled am I'm really pleased with the result and thinking where else I could have it! Good luck!

chatwoo · 23/02/2018 10:54

I had it for crease between eyes (permanently annoyed look) and it was great. I also had filler to fill the crease... That felt funny (lumpy) until it settled down.

Am going back next week for an overdue top up, probably won't have the filler this time though.

TossDaily · 23/02/2018 10:57

Thanks for replies!

I don't want to look younger - just less knackered. I don't sleep that well and it's really started to show on my face.

I'm aiming for fresh, not frozen.

Oh, and I'm telling no-one in real life...

Looking for somewhere in the NE if anyone has any recommendations?

UndomesticHousewife · 23/02/2018 11:00

I’ve got an appointment for Botox in March, a consultation and treatment if I want to go ahead.
I just want one area done the line in my eyebrows on the top bit of my nose I look so cross all the time. I think I might need a filler there too for the line.
I’m s bit scared but it’s an actual doctor that does the clinic once a month so hopefully he won’t paralyse my face!!

TossDaily · 23/02/2018 11:23

Argh don't say the 'P' word!

I've got my Bell's palsy excuse all lined up just in case Wink

I didn't tell anyone. My husband thought I was going to the supermarket. Fortunately didn't end up with a droopy eye. Not sure how I would have explained that to him.

Worieddd · 23/02/2018 12:28

Any recommendations in the north west?
Also how much are you all paying? I’ve got one forehead line that is really bugging me

Ollivander84 · 23/02/2018 12:33

I went to Kita Aesthetics in Burnley, paid £99 for two areas of azzalure

pontiouspilates · 23/02/2018 12:34

I'm almost 50 and have an annoying line between my eyebrows (like others, I feel I always look cross!) Have I left it too late for Botox? I feel like I should have had it 15 years ago?

Hammy12345 · 23/02/2018 12:39

Mine was two small lines between eye brows so looked permanently angry. A Dr did it and it was £90. She had some left in the vial so also did another line higher on my forehead.

Worieddd · 23/02/2018 13:07

Brilliant Burnley isn’t too far at all.

Off to google azzalure....

bananafish81 · 23/02/2018 13:28

I had my first botox last summer and am a total convert. I get my crow's feet done - I had some in my forehead as well but didn't get that topped up last time. It's very natural and just softens the lines so I look more awake and less haggard

bananafish81 · 23/02/2018 13:29

I'm 36 BTW. I went to a consultant dermatologist who specialises in cosmetic dermatology. I wouldn't ever go to a beautician, and personally wouldn't go to a nurse or dentist either - I'd opt for a dermatologist or plastic surgeon.

zippyswife · 23/02/2018 14:07

Can I ask if anyone can recommend in London/SE and how much you paid?

I’m trying to embrace my ageing face- but struggling.

Can Botox be used for sagging in lower face/marionette lines?
