For me:

Frills on tops
Big, stupid sleeves

'Dipped hem' tops. I think that's what they're called? Where the back of the top is longer than the front. I don't think they look good on anyone, but especially if you have a curvy bum. I look and feel like I'm wearing a nappy!

Also the selfie pout

Contouring, slug-like eyebrows, gel nails. They all just look really, really ridiculous.

Agree on the first two - but not sure I understand the third. My gel polish looks identical to my non gel polish, it just lasts longer. What's ridiculous about that?

Straightened hair. Never looks genuine.

Sometimes my hairdresser will blow dry my bob and finish it just with the dryer & a round brush, sometime they'll finger dry it and finish it with the straighteners. I cannot tell the difference between the two. I finish my hair off at home with the straighteners because it's quicker and easier to rough dry then run the irons through it to smooth it out, than do a full blow dry

How do you tell the difference to know which one isn't 'genuine'? I can't tell the difference except in people with really long poker straight hair that has no movement!

I find gel nails look weirdly thick, fake and kind of... bulbous compared with just normal painted nails. Having read ypur post, I doubted myself, so I googled and looked at loads pictures of gel nails. Yep, definitely weird and bulbous. And as for those pointy ones... ewww.

Those awful vulgar dresses so beloved of female celebrities. You know the ones - where they're see through in strategic places and/or have lots of fabric bits cut out of them.

I agree gel nails look much thicker and bulbous than polish. But if you like colour without chips I completely understand why people get them.
