Are we all ready? Stand by your beds for tomorrow! I just keep looking at mine in wonderment. It really cheered me up every day last December having something to open every morning Smile

I couldn't see another day by day thread - happy to delete mine if someone else has one.

I am a bit confused with all the skincare and what I am supposed to do with each product. Also, I had a basal cell carcinoma removed from my face earlier this year, and it had healed over nicely.

It now looks a bit red and sore so I am hoping it hasn't been infected or triggered by any of the products I have been slathering on willy nilly.

I had a major wine miscalculation on Friday night, and, being 52, I find it very hard to recover these days. Still moping about on the sofa saying I will never miscalculate again.........

I do feel good about treating myself though. Having the products forces me to create the time for myself IYSWIM?

Agree with everyone else who wants a good hand cream.

Oh dear MrsPestilence that's something to look forward to 😂

snowflakestar · 10/12/2017 14:19

I have enough hand cream to last a lifetime but I'm sure there'll be another one in there somewhere! I forget to use it

peachypips · 10/12/2017 14:32

Looking forward to peeling off my 39 yr old face later to reveal my 18 yr old skin.

I have to say that I have loved everything so far. Feels like a massive and very lovely treat.

WindyWednesday · 10/12/2017 15:05

Despite having a four week cold virus, my skin is looking youthful.

snowflakestar · 10/12/2017 15:37

And thanks sluj, I hope mine goes soon too and that it's a one-off!

DozyDoates · 10/12/2017 15:39

I'm quite pleased with it all so far - the lipnotgloss is not my colour, but then I'm not sure what is, I tend just to wear plain chapstick. My skin is looking good from all of the treatments to date, though I am hoping for an eye miracle cream to sort out the bags under my eyes resulting from my little sleep thief.

CointreauVersial · 10/12/2017 16:53

Thanks for looking that up, Trills.

YolandasFridge · 10/12/2017 17:14

Ffs that stuff is amazing

My face literally started peeling off as soon as it touched my skin

Rolls and rolls of grey brown stuff coming off , love it! All last nights fake tan I suspect as I was white as a ghost afterwards Grin

If anyone doesn't want theirs and would like a gold nail varnish...!

SymphonyofShadows · 10/12/2017 17:24

I'm a bit scared to use it in case I end up looking like I've been sandblasted

Hareinthewoods · 10/12/2017 17:57

I checked online and it's £17 for a full size tube, I will definitely be restocking!

usernameinfinito · 10/12/2017 17:59

Today’s stuff is weird in a good way. I could feel my skin peeling off. The skin under it it’s very sensitive, it hurt a little bit when I put the non alcohol toner, the rodial dragon and gatineau on top. But it feels amazing. Baby skin.

chloechloe · 10/12/2017 18:12

I'm scared to use it after reading these reports. But I'm slightly intrigued by the prospect of peeling off my face to reveal baby smooth skin!

I used the Korres mask last night and my skin was nicely plumped up in the morning.

snowflakestar · 10/12/2017 18:20

I rubbed for ages and it didn't peel! Maybe I applied too much? Will try again another day, though my skin felt tight for ages afterwards so I will leave it a while.

WindyWednesday · 10/12/2017 18:23

It’s the action of the mask rolling off that exfoliates your skin. Like the granular scrubs, but it’s a different action it’s a gentle type of scrub.

It’s not the skin coming off it’s product and a teeny weeny bit of skin.

WindyWednesday · 10/12/2017 18:25

Back in the day when I worked in a salon that used clarins. M&S launched new skincare range, looked v v similar to clairins. This is a v similar version of a clarins face peel. For peel think scrub. The product peels, not your skin.

snowflakestar · 10/12/2017 18:28

They didn't make it very clear at all so I gave up when I got fed up of rubbing! I've had foot scrubs like that before (the Scholl one is great). Strange how some people peeled straight away, I rubbed for ages!

Will be using a mask with AHAS tonight anyway, so probably for the best!

YolandasFridge · 10/12/2017 18:38

I didn't really have to rub it peeled right away

Def loads of (dead) skin coming off along with product. it's a chemical exfoliant rather than physical which is gentler but actually more effective IMO as it dissolves dead skin cells on contact. Fabulous and rather fun.
Definite repurchase , my skin loved it

Trills · 10/12/2017 19:11

Maybe some people have more spare skin that is just waiting to peel?

I say that not having tried yet so I don't know which group I am in!

snowflakestar · 10/12/2017 19:28

Interesting!

caggie09 · 10/12/2017 19:28

Ive used the peel tonight, i think i need the full size product now! My chin is a problem area, tiny bumps and black heads. My chin has never felt smoother! Im trying to save money and was hoping these calenders would stock me up for a few months. If im lucky santa might bring me itXmas Grin
Has everyone else been using the Korres mask every night? I have, its set my eczema of all over my forehead so im just going to use it once a week now.

snowflakestar · 10/12/2017 19:32

No, I've only used the Korres a couple of times and I've been using the Gatineau inbeween.

Kez0777 · 10/12/2017 19:52

Do we use this in the morning before applying moisturiser?
