Are we all ready? Stand by your beds for tomorrow! I just keep looking at mine in wonderment. It really cheered me up every day last December having something to open every morning Smile

I couldn't see another day by day thread - happy to delete mine if someone else has one.

I am very pale and blonde and absolutely LOVE todays lip colour. It dried all lovely and matte and is a great colour for me.

I might buy this product again.

The dragons blood did make my skin look a bit better this morning too so I am a happy poo bum.

I'm very pale and blonde too but warm toned so YolandasFridge's post explains why it doesn't suit me.

PurpleWithRed · 06/12/2017 18:04

Hideous on me, sadly, my first real disappointment.

thegrinchreaper · 06/12/2017 18:41

I love the liquid lipstick. It shows up mauve on me. Hasn't budged all day obviously, but doesn't feel drying and hasn't had little bits flake off. Woop!

MoonlightMedicine · 06/12/2017 19:23

I haven’t had it transfer on anything and I’ve eaten and drank a LOT today Blush

LoniceraJaponica · 06/12/2017 19:52

DD has just tried the lip colour, and looks fabulous. I tried it and looked like a corpse Grin

patientzero · 06/12/2017 20:33

Patina is my favourite lip colour/formulation ever so I’m happy with today!

Not RTFT yet but well moisturised lips are the key to making it work. I use scrub and balm after my foundation then wipe it off and apply the lipstick as my last thing. Always stays on for hours and has little/no transfer

LizzieSiddal · 06/12/2017 20:34

I’ll be giving mine to my dd as she’s blue eyed, blond and pale skin. I’m the opposite so it looks awful on me.

woodhill · 06/12/2017 20:35

Happy with most of the things so far

Trills · 06/12/2017 20:41

It feels like some people assume that anything with a sponge applicator is (or is called) a lipgloss.

Not quite in the same ballpark (moneywise) as the Dragon stuff, but it still feels veairy naice on.

runwalkrun · 06/12/2017 21:04

Re the Lipgloss.
I'm giving it to my daughter as well.

NotTheQueen · 06/12/2017 21:17

I love the Stila lipstick - perfect shade for me, but Im pale-ish (ELDW Ivory Nude / KVD 44 Cool)

This is the first item that I've gone "Yes, I'd buy that again"

Trills · 06/12/2017 21:19

STOP SAYING LIPGLOSS.

Angry Angry Grin

HotSteppa · 06/12/2017 21:22

After a week of quality skin care I really feel like I (not necessarily any one else) can notice a positive difference in my skin, more even and plump, I'm pleased.

Love a nude lipstick and in matte too so I was please to see this morning's offering, looked great going on but checked in the mirror mid morning and had gone all claggy, maybe I need a good exfoliate, not gonna write it off yet.

thenewstateswoman · 06/12/2017 21:27

Not sure if this pic will work but in the spirit of testing out all the products on the day I wore the lipstick today. I mistook it for a gloss until it dried !! It lasted all day and I drank tons of coffee/ water and I got a compliment or two which was lovely 😊 I'm not sure it's exactly my colour but I'll wear it again!

thenewstateswoman · 06/12/2017 21:30

Try again...

Lipgloss lipgloss lipgloss!!!!!!!!

Ok I know it's a lipstick but I'm old and used to anything with an applicator being a gloss!

Anyway - it lasted eating a bowl of porridge and drinking tea but then disappeared. Colour was ok.

I'll do the exfoliating etc tomorrow and see if it helps. But it did seem t just suck moisture out of my lips.

TheNoseyProject · 06/12/2017 22:12

Thank you yolandasfringe! A little goes a long way is the key. I slathered it on abc it looked terrible but after your post I basically wiped the applicator as clean as I could and applied it from that and it looks nice!

SaltySeaBird · 06/12/2017 22:23

I was going excited and like the brand and texture but the colour looks awful on me. I’m a pale blonde but warm toned despite no hint of a tan! Never mind I’ve used everything else so far and my sister might suit this.

AlannaOfTrebond · 06/12/2017 22:30

The colour isn't too bad on me with a bit of lip balm over the top, but it looks like I put kids poster paint on my lips - it's horrid!

YolandasFridge · 06/12/2017 22:34

Glad to be of service re the LONGWEAR LIPSTICK Wink

A thin layer on moisturised but not lip balm covered lips is key. Top up with something hydrating as required. It's the old eternal lipstick battle between longevity and dryness!! They haven't invented a hydrating gloss that stays on all day yet and I doubt they ever will !

Colour wise just because you are a warm toned skin tone doesn't mean you can never wear a slightly cooler lip, it's not an exact science.
Try it on and see.
It could look great on a warmer skin tone, perhaps add a bit of blusher. I wore it today with Bobbi Brown powder pink, I'm pretty sallow with mousy highlighted Hair.

Ps Please no more spoilers , I know the pp didn't name names but put it this way we now know what it isn't ...Sad

Howaboutthisone · 06/12/2017 22:58

Pleased with the texture and longevity of today’s but not certain with the colour. It’s better than I originally thought but could have been much better. I’ll probably try it out a few more times and definitely prefer it to last years stila lipgloss-I find the gloss far too sticky!

Howaboutthisone · 06/12/2017 22:59

I agree- thread title is pretty clear really! No spoiler or hints of spoilers please!
