Are we all ready? Stand by your beds for tomorrow! I just keep looking at mine in wonderment. It really cheered me up every day last December having something to open every morning Smile

I couldn't see another day by day thread - happy to delete mine if someone else has one.

It removes ALL signs of tiredness!!?? They obviously weren't banking on me using it, mother of the most sleep resisting child known to parenthood. Maybe I'll give it a go tomorrow - full moon tonight so there will be a horrible night of little sleep ahead!

mogulfield · 04/12/2017 04:16

I’m one of the naughty people who opened it in one go! I wanted to use the actual calendar part for my son (I put little chocolates/lollies etc in it).
But I’m loving this thread! It’s good to see what everyone else thinks of the products and how effective they are; I reckon it’s a great way to figure out what works and what doesn’t without breaking the bank.
I’ve been really impressed with what’s in it, of the 3 mentioned the luxe is my fave so far, I use it on my giant bump (29 weeks pg) to keep it soft!

mogulfield · 04/12/2017 04:18

Nuxe not luxe!

Hareinthewoods · 04/12/2017 05:29

Pleased with today. Not used this brand before but looking forward to giving it a go.

PeoniesforMissAnnersley · 04/12/2017 06:30

Pleased enough with today -would like to hear more from anyone who has used it. Maybe it will cure my winter dry patches

AmethystMoon · 04/12/2017 06:45

I've heard of Gatineau but never used it before. I associate it with QVC!
Is this just a moisturiser? Trying to work out whether to just use this before make up?

Xmasbaby11 · 04/12/2017 06:55

I've just used it as moisturiser. Nice texture and goes on well.

Pleased with them so far - good sized products and more expensive than my usual ones!

snowflakestar · 04/12/2017 07:44

I'm pleased with a face moisturiser. I've just used it and it seems nice enough, though it's left a bit of a tacky feeling on my skin, and it doesn't feel as hydrating as my current Elizabeth Arden moisturiser. I've looked it up and it's aimed at skin showing advanced signs of ages - deep lines etc. Although heading towards late 30s I don't have any lines yet so I'm not the target market. Has anyone seen the price of the full size?! So this small tube is worth quite a lot!

Kez0777 · 04/12/2017 08:04

Wow just looked how much it costs, glad I didn’t just shove a load on my face Grin

Gaagaa · 04/12/2017 08:07

Ooh the mysterious cake cream looks swanky

Gaagaa · 04/12/2017 08:09

Mogul I opened mine all in one go last year (had a bad morning at work and did at lunchtime in the car park!!) regretted it afterwards but enjoyed the mighty haul nonetheless

Trills · 04/12/2017 08:14

God, we're agreed this is "a face moisturiser" - so many things are described a bit abstractly that it's good to have a consensus.

caggie09 · 04/12/2017 08:26

I go through alot of moisturiser, so glad of one to add to my stash. Heard of the brand but didnt realise how pricey it was. £86 for full size, this better be a good cream!

FedupNagging · 04/12/2017 08:34

I had a sneaky peak in all the boxes a couple of weeks ago but crap memory ensures I can't remember most of the items so everyday is a surprise so far.

Am currently sitting here in the meso mask-feels nice and no stinging. After a heavy weekend I'm hoping for a minor miracle when it comes off.

Will definitely use yesterday's shower oil and I'm fed up with my current moisturiser so will put it into retirement and use today's offering.

ChristmasTreeLight · 04/12/2017 08:45

Today’s tube is worth £25 judging by the full size cost on QVC. Blimey. I put a huge dollop on my face!

The mask last was great!

wildbuttercup · 04/12/2017 08:49

Loove the moisturiser for today, definitely my favourite so far, bloody hell cant believe the full size is £86!!! Won't be purchasing due to the price but a nice treat nonetheless (now to try and actually use rather than save it in the back of the cupboard for a rainy day that never comes)

runningtogetskinny · 04/12/2017 08:50

So far I'm very pleased, it was a last minute purchase! It's my day off so I've been downstairs, made coffee and I'm back in bed now, reading with my face mask - indulgent heaven!

FacelikeaBagofHammers · 04/12/2017 08:52

Loved the Gatineau Cream , used it this morning under my makeup and it was really nice, left my skin smooth and plump.

I like Nuxe, but wasn't that impressed with Day 1 (packaging was pretty naff), though having said that I haven't used it yet.

otherdoor · 04/12/2017 08:54

Just found this thread! I was a bit disappointed on day one but have been pleased ever since. Really like the cream today although not sure I'd pay that much for it.

LoniceraJaponica · 04/12/2017 09:01

How can so many of you tell that the products change the way your skin looks? No matter what I put on my face it always looks the same.

CiderwithBuda · 04/12/2017 09:09

Happy with day four. Have never used Gatineau but knew it's expensive. I have a few mini sizes of various moisturisers to use up so will add it to the pile.

HistoryMad · 04/12/2017 09:17

How much was this advent calendar for? It is oos online

NewtsSuitcase · 04/12/2017 09:19

£35

HotSteppa · 04/12/2017 09:23

Just found this thread waves

I've been using todays moisturiser for the past week or so in the mornings, I had to move the calender the other week and all the boxes fell out, a couple of bits dropped out and this was one that I started using, I'm not that keen find it a bit thick and not that smooth going on.

Loved the mask the other day, used Saturday after a night out Friday and I felt Sunday was a "Good skin day" sadly my 2yo got hold of the tube and squeezed the rest of it on the rug 🙄

Also loved the shower oil, was getting jasminey wiffs all day and my 2 yo has just told me I smell lovely this morning, somewhat redeemed himself for crimes against the mask.

Baileystruffle · 04/12/2017 09:53

I'll look forward to using todays offering when my current night moisturiser has run out. I agree my skin usually stays the same too, apart from a few spots I get on a monthly basis! I still love trying new things though
