I ordered mine today. So excited, I've never had one before.

I'm so weak, I was reading reviews of the Rosie for Autograph make up and I've opened a door to get the lip glossy out! I'm not spoiling it as I mean in last year ones, which I've not opened!

miffy2 · 18/11/2017 20:34

I got mine, it is sitting on the shelf in the sitting room and I am so pleased to have something nice to look forward to every morning in December (which is a stressful enough month).

Sentimentallentil · 18/11/2017 20:41

buster that’s so naughty!!!

Whydididothatfuckingthing · 18/11/2017 21:14

Hey, never seen these before. Can you spend the £35.00 on anything I.e could it be food?
Thanks

HolgerDanske · 18/11/2017 21:21

No it doesn’t include food. Home, beauty, clothing, I think.

BusterGonad · 18/11/2017 21:33

Sentimental I know, I couldn't help it as I bought a Rosie lipstick and loved it so much, I started googling her other stuff and then came across the advent calendar review for last year and noticed that there was a full lip glossy on day 12 so I opened it!!! Last years though, so I'm not spoiling it for this years!

TracyBeakerSoYeah · 18/11/2017 21:36

I wonder who will be the first & last of the day (Dec 1st) to open door No1?

AnnieHoo · 18/11/2017 22:07

Me! I ordered one to share with my lovely neighbour friend Smile

TracyBeakerSoYeah · 19/11/2017 01:23

Annie I fell that sharing the M&S Advent calendar will put a serious strain on your friendship Grin

TortiousTortoise · 19/11/2017 08:25

I don't suppose anyone has looked at how much of the contents are suitable for vegans?

TortiousTortoise · 19/11/2017 08:32

Nevermind, found a better list of contents and have worked out that many are not. Boo!

PurpleWithRed · 19/11/2017 08:44

I bought one for myself after reading about it here and I needed some stuff from M&S so I could justify it Hmm. Then had a terrible dilemma - I thought my sister would love it as a christmas present, but I soooo wanted to keep it for myself, I felt like a kid in a Victorian moral tale.

So I went back to M&S and bought a huge fluffy throw for the sofa, two new beautiful cotton sheets, a pair of shoes, some eye primer, some tights and a couple of nice things in the food hall - and somehow I had spent over £35 so could have another calendar for my sister. Win!

It’s going to cost a fortune to send it to her in Yorkshire though.

LizzieSiddal · 19/11/2017 08:45

I ordered our Xmas Pjs and also got the calendar. It’s the first time I’ve had one so am very excited.

I actually don’t spend huge amounts on make up and body stuff. I have my favourites and stick to them, so I see this as a cheap way to try other things.

Sentimentallentil · 19/11/2017 09:22

buster
Oh that doesn’t count then if it’s last years!

I’m actually amazed you haven’t just ripped it open to be honest.

AnnieHoo · 19/11/2017 10:26

tracey I know. The sharing is not going to work... I should just give it to her, I am seriously considering doing what purple did and getting another one.

whirlygirly · 20/11/2017 22:14

Damn you all. After saying I wasn't going to get one I went in yesterday and got mine. Last but one of the store stock so I was lucky.
It is lovely. Smile

TracyBeakerSoYeah · 21/11/2017 15:13

Welcome to the dark side Whirly
It's not just the dark side, it's the M&S Advent dark side Grin

TracyBeakerSoYeah · 21/11/2017 15:14

Annie you seriously need to get yourself your own calendar!

Arealhumanbeing · 21/11/2017 15:33

So are they still available?

I had a look on the website today and it was £250! Wasn’t it £35 on home wear, beauty or clothes and then the calendar for £35?

Sentimentallentil · 21/11/2017 15:34

I think they’re sold out online, my store has loads of them left though.
Yeah you buy £35 worth of stuff and you can get the calender for £35
