How old is * too old * for a leather jacket?

Just that really. I'm 47. I ordered one and I loved it. I sent it back because I thought I'm too old . I'm regretting it.

Get it back! I can't see why you would feel too old. My old HoD used to wear a jacket very like the one Michael Jackson wore in the Thriller video, and she was in her 60s. She looked great!

I do have greying hair though, does that matter? and I look a bit (a lot) knackered. I'm not a supermodel (not even a really duff model).

i have one like that, butter soft, i am just a bit fat for it atm, mine was a tenner from a charity shop! Rarely have I been so thrilled!

My neighbour wears one and she's in her 60's. She looks fab in it, she has a great sense of style. Get it back OP!

OP, get your hair sorted! Either go for it with the grey or stay with your original colour for a while. That'll make a huge difference to the way you look.

That's just what I can on to say CountFosco! I hope I'll be wearing one into my demented nineties should I feel like. I'm loving being older and giving much less of a shot what other people think.
I think this is why people in their forties and fifties are much happier!

My mum is 73 and looks amazing in her leather jackets. Note use of plural. Go for it.
