Anyone tried Trinny London products?

I follow Trinny on Instagram and luffs her posts very much. She's brilliantly bonkers and a joy to watch.

I'm very tempted to buy her BBF Skin Perfector in Light, and the lip gloss in Demon as these are 'my' colours apparently.

But are they as lovely and effective as they look on Instagram?

Tempted to order some Trinny London products but was just wondering if any one else has tried them? I'd be interested to know your thoughts. Thank you.

Methenyou
That sounds like a great idea.

VanillaSugar · 22/02/2018 08:53

Has anyone actually bought anything yet? Can you vouch for it?

snabigailflagstabble · 22/02/2018 09:55

i don't do much makeup i just enjoy watching her!

cardoon · 22/02/2018 10:44

Love Trinny, I'm hovering over my basket but feel it's too expensive to take the plunge until I see more feedback - anyone out there tried it?

Hetaera · 22/02/2018 18:50

Yes, same here. I would like to try the lip cheek one in my suggested shade. But after including p&p, I feel it is very expensive for something that I cannot go into a shop and test for myself.

Mercurial123 · 22/02/2018 19:12

The quality is really good love the eyeshadows. The lip/ cheek colour is fab but is quite drying. I only use it a couple of times a week. I have it in Cha Cha.

Hetaera · 22/02/2018 21:06

Oooh thanks Mercurial123, that is good to know.

Fosterdog123 · 22/02/2018 21:24

Did you know that the other investor is Unilever, who test on animals.

Feelingduped18 · 28/02/2018 16:03

I bought the BFF cream in lightest. I've only used it once but I'm not overly impressed for £35. I've got no other makeup on today and look half dead. I've used other products that were cheaper and made more of a difference to my skin.

beguilingeyes · 28/02/2018 16:11

The Saatchi connection makes it a no from me too.

Vile man.

cardoon · 28/02/2018 16:12

Is it too pale or not enough coverage?

SheGotBetteDavisEyes · 28/02/2018 16:20

Charles Saatchi is an investor in her business so it's a no from me. I wouldn't buy it on principle

Same. Wouldn't touch it given Saatchi's involvement.

My sister tried it. Her view: Some things are okay, others not so good. Packaging is the big gimmick. Not really worth the big bucks overall.

Charlotte Tilbury, Laura Mercier and Bobbi Brown are better.

Feelingduped18 · 28/02/2018 22:20

The BFF gives no coverage at all from what I can tell. I think it’s just supposed to make your skin look better. It’s not glowy enough for my post 40 dehydrated skin to look better.

rcrunky · 23/09/2018 11:19

Started out with a few bits and have slowly been adding more...BFF which I love for a dewy finish, and Just a touch foundation - I requested a sample as wasn’t really sure of my foundation colour x

Jaynesed · 15/09/2019 09:12

Rubbish customer service. Still only received the pot with no lid, Slow delivery, no acknowledgment of other items being ruined. Valuable lesson learnt I think, shop around for good quality make-up in stores where you can see, try and ask advice about the products.
