Ignore the decorating mess please.
I'm trying the boot/dress combo for the first time and thought I'd got it in the shop but I haven't have I?
I'm short with stumpy legs and boots which are too tall or fussy make me look squat. So I thought plain low wedges with leggings but I dunno.
The dress is going back. It looked good in the shop but it doesn't now. Don't you hate it when that happens?!
Any suggestions? I want something different to knee high boots.

The cut of the dress isn't bad. Below the knee a little bit would be more flattering.
You'd be better off with a deep cut/v-cut court shoe type ankle boot.
Show the ankles, never cut them off.
