Really dry lips can't find a good Balm!

I’ve tried so many lip balms, I used to love Burts Bees honey one but all of a sudden my lips are so chapped nothing is working.

Any recommendations for a really good Balm please?

Lanolips

Autumnchill · 01/10/2017 22:46

Molten Brown Lip Saver.

Bairnsmum05 · 01/10/2017 22:48

Nux- marks sell it, saw it recommended on here and it’s been a life saver (lip saver 😂)

SilverAndCold · 01/10/2017 22:48

I've recently started using lanolin nipple cream (I had some of the Boots 100% lanolin one lurking in the bathroom cabinet so thought was worth a go!) on my lips overnight and it's made a massive difference. I know it sounds a bit odd but if you have a quick google it seems to work for a lot of people.

Carmex

nodogsinthebedroom · 01/10/2017 22:49

Blistex relief cream. The proper medicated stuff. It's the only thing that sorts my lips out when really chapped and bleeding.

PinkHeart5913 · 01/10/2017 22:49

The only one that works for me is Palmers coco butter one

Appuskidu · 01/10/2017 22:49

EOS--it's the best one I've ever had!

BorisTrumpsHair · 01/10/2017 22:50

If you want to spend £££ ByTerry Baume de Rose is fab.

ozymandiusking · 01/10/2017 22:50

The Nivea one is good Tesco sell it. I think Lipsyl has an odd smell and taste.

PickAChew · 01/10/2017 22:51

Lush ultrabalm or Quantum superlysine coldstick. The coldstick has the benefit of nipping cold sores in the bud, if you're prone to them.

Teddy1970 · 01/10/2017 22:52

Elizabeth Arden's eight hour cream is great for dry lips..

needtimewithwineandlesswhine · 01/10/2017 22:54

Nipple creme for breast feeding. No joke. It's amazing

AdoraBell · 01/10/2017 22:55

Do you drink fizzy drinks? I've seen others on various threads, not in S&B, say that after kicking their Diet Coke, fe, habit they no longer get chapped lips.

Temporary2002 · 01/10/2017 22:56

I used regular moisturizer when I forgot my blistex, and discovered it works a treat!

Blueemeraldagain · 01/10/2017 22:56

I second Blistex relief cream. It's the only one I've used that doesn't offer temporary relief but ultimately leave your lips drier than you started.

Jasharps · 01/10/2017 22:57

Carmen is the best

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 01/10/2017 22:58

Medicated Blistex

starzig · 01/10/2017 22:59

When mine are really flaky I use lush sugar lip scrub

Amber0685 · 01/10/2017 23:00

Avene cold cream lip balm

Ninjakittysmells · 01/10/2017 23:00

Jo Malone vitamin E lip gloss is AMAZING. Like nipple cream in texture etc, but lasts ages and makes my lips incredibly soft.

SellMySoulForMoreSleep · 01/10/2017 23:00

Another vote for Molten Brown. I've suffered with chapped, very sore lips my whole life and this is the only balm that sorts them out!

LazySusan11 · 01/10/2017 23:12

I’ve tried lanolips, Carmex and Blistex didn’t really help. Will look for nipple cream!

Second Lanolips (also comes tinted) and Nuxe rev de miel

SummerRoberts · 01/10/2017 23:14

The Nuxe one is brilliant. You can get it in boots or m&s.
