Are All Saints leather jackets really worth It?

I am tempted. But 380 quid?! What makes them different/better to cheaper jackets. By cheaper I mean in the 100-150 range. I want a really good quality coat that'll last.

I have the Balfern, and the leather is soft. It sort of sits on my hips.
I have bikers from Whistles and Hush, and I would say the Balfern has the softest leather, but that may be because I have worn it the most. It isn't delicate though, and is definitely not thin, the leather is gorgeous.

I'm also hoping to get one but could not quite catch a good deal. Oh shows no sign of getting this as birthday present though he knows I love leather jackets. Oh well!

It's been interesting reading this thread as I've been toying around with getting the AllSaints Conroy or the Whistles Agnes or a Zara leather jacket. Have not tried any of them on so I probably need to just get to the shops and be done with it.
The Zara one is £99 vs approx £250 for the others (after Black Friday discount) so it's difficult for me to justify the cost although I do believe in spending good money on investment pieces.
Does anyone have any thoughts on the Zara vs AllSaints/Whistles please?

I’ve just brought my first All Saints jacket (Baldwin) after reading this thread a couple of months ago.

30% off (Black Friday)+ 8% on Quidco at the moment for those wondering, so works out about £205 - Still my most expensive purchase in my wardrobe though!!

Baldwin?! That would sell well. I meant Balfern.

Was also considering the Hush biker jacket but it looks a little cropped to me.

Is the All Saints Balfern comparable to the leather jackets of Zara, Mango etc?

All Saints are much better than mango level. Mango are good value for leather and for finding trendy colours etc but they’re not particularly well made.

Ime all saints is a big step up in quality of leather.

I haven't read the thread yet but I wanted to reply as my all saints leather jacket is my favourite piece in my wardrobe. It cost me about £250 three years ago, and it's the most I've ever spent on a single item of clothing but so worth it.

Compared to other leather jackets it's so light and easy to wear. I've got a biker style which fits perfectly and is very flattering. Once I'd tried it on, I couldn't leave the shop without buying. The quality is so good, I haven't looked after it at all but after 3 years it's still in amazing condition.

If you wear leather jackets a lot I do think it's worth the investment!

How is All Saints' quality compared to BLK DNM?

I have BLK DNM leather jackets that I hope to fit into come winter (I'm in Aus). But I am really tempted to get the Balfern.

Love mine. Wear it to death as it goes with everything.
